I’m so ready to go back. Our last trip was pretty crappy. The wife got sick the first day we was there. So the rest of the trio was just bad. We didn’t get to do anything we wanted to because she was feeling so bad. We left the parks very very early every day. She tried but was just feeling like crap. I did get to do my light saber build. The experience alone is well worth it. Everyone should do it at least once. Hell I’m 48, and was 47 at the time and I was choked up during the whole experience.
See I was very very poor growing up. So going to Disney World, or any big theme park for that matter, was just a pipe dream. 22 years ago I met my wife and her family. I can’t tell you how many times I have been to Disney World. I have seen so many different states on vacations. Been on cruises to different countries. We going on a cruise September 25th – October 2nd to Florida Keys and the Bahamas. Then in January we going on the Carnival Mardi Gras. We will be going to Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and Grand Turks. So can’t wait.
So true. Was so upset when down for the 50th Anniversary and no mention of Walt Disney. Its also a terrible display over in Hollywood Studios with the tribute to Walt. That should be put in a nice building with more room to walk around. So much more could be do to honor his family.
Was down last October 1st for the start of the 50th Anniversary celebration and was disappointed beyond belief!!! Especially when the new firework show in Magic Kingdom started and no tribute the Walt, Roy or any of the original Disney movies! Going down over Labor Day and am looking forward to seeing this new show. The whole Anniversary Celebration is lacking anything worth visiting the parks for and to be honest I am only going because this was a trip already planned with friends. I am a DVC member, annual pass holder, D23 member and stock holder. About ready to get rid of everything with how much the parks are changing. Bring back “old” Disney and try to keep Walt alive!!

No longer a fan of WDW but I got to say that is an impressive show!

Walt and Roy should have been honored all along, no questions asked.

Not a fan of the shows. They all look the same with the same overly dramatic soundtrack. The perfect time to head south.
