This is Chapek. Ever since he took over, he’s laid off thousands and has cut the budgets – obviously – on ride maintenance and janitorial services. There are cobwebs, chipped paint, and trash at the Magic Kingdom and the worst is Hollywood Studios.
I just got back from Disneyworld. I had to go to see if everything I was reading was true. It’s not. Epcot was awesome and clean, Disney Springs was the same and Old Key West Resort was perfect. Don’t believe what you read. They’re hit pieces.
Worked graveyard custodial at Disneyland.. Cobwebs can easily be hosed down .. rats and roaches are everywhere especially the bakery and on main street after closing.. castmember dining was a disaster plates pots pans stacked all over at night till the morning ..ridiculous..
Sounds like they were leaving the ‘Dishes in the sink ma’? A Spike Jones original song celeberating WW2 victory. “The father with the dishes was not the thing to do!”
It’s funnier when you listen to it now you can on YT used to be record then tape then CD.
“Leave the dishes in the sink ma. Leave the dishes in the sink. These dirty plates will have to wait tonight we’re going to celebrate. Leave the Dishes in the sink. Ma Ma Ma Ma”
“And while they were overdancing the door flew open wide. And everybody stopped and Sargent Joey stepped inside! He shouted out “Attention!” and everybody knew. That the father with the dishes was NOT the thing to do!”
A couple years back I was shocked to find a small dead Frog in my drink, good thing i took the lid off the drink as I was sharing it and upon pouring my drink in another cup is when I discovered it. I was so shocked, didn’t hear myself scream in horror and disgust, but a cast member did and shuffled me away to discuss my findings… I was meagerly compensated. Shame on them!!
The roaches have been a problem for years. Spotted them in the DCA Hollywood Backlot at least 7-8 years ago. Have seen them swarm on Buena Vista Street more than once the past few years and when I notified Guest Services they said it was common in the heat. Also have seen them in Downtown Disney in the last year. Not fun.

Have seen hundreds of mice in bushes along the river walkway.

Disney doesn’t use poison…. that makes it hard to win against critters that, like Tribbles, ‘seem to be born pregnant!’

Did the rats pay their entry and got their magic band and Genie +?
