  1. Stroller Rage

I’ve never used my stroller as a battering ram, but I have used it as a crowd blocker. Rope drop last year, two teenage to twenty something girls were pushing their way forward, stepping over the ends of other people’s strollers (with children in them) and also trying to block out someone on a scooter. They tried the same with me and I simply positioned my scooter where they could do no such thing, and despite their best efforts to go around me, they were steered into a dead end of a trash can blocking their path forward and had to wait. A simple “excuse me” from them, or “we’re trying to catch up to our party” is the tiniest bit of courtesy/consideration it would have taken for me not to be that guy. I have also been known to deliberately clip someone’s ankles if you run in front of me when I’m pushing a stroller and then go slower than the pace I was walking at.

You expect a lot from the self absorbed generation. Do you really expect them to know what Excuse me means. I doubt any of them could like spell pardon or excuse.

    2. Squeaks

You sound like a real jerk.

    3. Zara

Your an idiot, if you clipped my ankles on purpose you would know about it

      1. Fabs

I hate when people with scooters that don’t need them do this. They also over honk their horns to move you out of the way. The worst are the couples that rent one each.

      2. Pam

Oh boy! Did these comments bring up memories! I was standing in line for a ride when this lady in a scooter barreled into the back of my legs. Then she gave me a face and told me I should get out of her way!
I also saw a child way too big for a stroller, come out of a ride, jump into the stroller and get pushed to the ride next door!

        1. Chato

          I like asparagus.

    4. Steve

Sounds like you assaulted someone because you didn’t like people getting around you while you were causing congestion in a high traffic pathway. You should probably get banned.

    5. Paul

Oh hello folks , absolutely , my wife an I was there a few years ago an let me tell you , we’ve been run into by strollers an battery operated Carts an then some. , When we reported it , we got oh it’s a full crowd today , that’s from a cast member , so we left the park asap …

People stand in the way. As someone who visits parks often, I can tell you the people that stand to block pedestrian traffic, or stop walking can and should get hit with strollers and wheel chair. Next time you take a selfie show the hurt face on, as someone might hit the back of your legs.

    7. Standing ovation

I love knocking fatasses like you over in your fat transportation device, disabling scooters to people that do this is fun too, what are you gonna do, get up and run after me haha be that guy

how about someone that uses a wheelchair and I’m not talking just for the day
while following behind my adult son as we were moving thru the crowds the rudeness of people trying to get around him was unbelievable someone almost landed in his lap

others once they saw it was indeed a wheelchair and not a stroller actually made room for him.

I went flying over a stroller in Epcot. It was dark as they had just dimmed the lights and the stroller pusher had turned around with no warning as I was walking. I had to be picked up and had an enormous bruise on my hip and elbow. Also run down by a speeding mobility scooter that was going faster than people were walking and weaving in and out to get ahead of people leaving the park. Bruised ankles that time. I am over 60 years old and this was on one visit. And the 1st one in 3 years. It’s a bit of a free for all in those parks

    1. Invisible Scooters

Wow, really? My wife and I, who just had hip surgery and have issues with my feet, were treated horribly by regular guests because we were in mobility devices. They’d walk in front of us, treat us like we weren’t even there. Our last night, Magic Kingdom unceremoniously shoved EVERY guest out of the park @ 10pm and sent everyone to the ferries (one of the monorail trains weren’t running), someone tried to sit on my wife’s scooter. Another person shoved his and his wife’s way in front of my, cutting me off of my party and tried to accuse me of trying to hit him. We almost got into.a fight because of his rudeness. People shoved their way in front of us. People in scooters and wheelchairs are treated horribly by regular guests. That person on the scooter probably separated from their party and trying to catch up. Maybe you should look out for them as well as for yourself.

      1. F

@ invisable scooter I agree. It’s not just at these crappy parks either. It’s everywhere. Anyone in a wheelchair of any age or condition is invisible and treated as if they are nothing but a huge inconvenience. I find it appalling, disrespectful, rude, arrogant, self centered and frankly just disgusting. They only comfort is 99% of humans will end up in a chair or scooter at some point in their lives unless the die young. I only hope they get exactly what they gave out in spades. We come in this world helpless, in diapers and carried. We all go out the same way.

  4. lola

Strollers and scooters think they own the park and have a good damn right to just barge their way through….it’s just sheer rudeness

    1. Invisible Scooters

Excuse me? We were on scooters the last visit and were treated as if we didn’t exist and “regular” guests were extremely rude to us, you probably were one with your ugly attitude towards people with disabilities. I bet you park in handicap spots, too.

  5. The worst was 2 different ladies see parade: first one got in front of me and yes she sat down with her boney ass right on my feet.. the other one held her tablet to video the parade right in front of my guys face her arms were resting on his shoulders. I have never wanted to start a fight in the Magic Kingdom before.

Sometimes you can’t see a person’s disability by looking at them. Without a scooter I wouldn’t be able to handle doing a lot of walking. I in no way want to use this as an excuse to cut any lines. I would stand in the lines even though I would be in a lot of pain. So if you see me in a scooter and I’m standing in the lines it doesn’t mean I don’t need the scooter. I can stand for a little while. I wish I didn’t have to use one but it’s the only way I would be able to go to Disney World. I don’t expect to be treated any different than anyone else.

    “Adults” acting like children.

Something similar happened to my family during a parade. We bought VIP viewing with lunch on main street. As my wife, 2 young kids and myself were waiting for the parade to start, a woman on a mobility scooter pushed my children and another party to the side and forced her way to the front of the sidewalk. My wife warned, do not say a word. Until, the woman got up from the scooter and walked approx. 80 yards to the bakery. I was so pissed I power lifted the scooter and crab walked it to the stone wall behind the crowd. The woman returned after the parade started and had a complete meltdown. The family next to us offered to buy us lunch for removing her.

      LOL Touche! 😁

I did that years ago when the Cubans had come into Florida in large waves. They were very inconsiderate. Two fully grown adult men had pushed their way in front of my 6 year old daughter to see the parade when they could have stood behind her and had just as good a view. Cuban families were pushing their way through the park and had either separated our children from us or knocked them down more than once. I rented a stroller to push my kids around and basically used it as a ram through the inconsiderate foreigners that had made me so frustrated and inconsiderate. Don’t say it was racial, I have Cuban relatives whom I never knew to be so inconsiderate. These people acted like they owned the place.

    1. Lisa

Never had issues with Cubans but the Brazilian tour groups are absolutely horrible. They have tried to cut in front of myself and my daughter, saying they are tourists. Well so are we! They would chant loudly during shows such as the Dapper Dan’s so you weren’t able to hear them sing, one actually grabbed my daughters lanyard to get a close up look at her trader pins, they treat cast members horribly and pretend like they don’t understand English, and a cast member even told us how they will rudely interrupt them while assisting other guests because they are so entitled they don’t think they should have to wait their turns. I have never witnessed such rude and disrespectful behavior. Shame on them.

The Disney parents are insane I have been assaulted by strollers dozens of times they scream profanity at me after they hurt me for being in their way. One large double stroller Karen kicked me over so hard that I landed completely on the ground and they roller the stroller over my legs. The Disney cult is insane.

  10. Lorraine

it seems to shock them when I say ” WELL, EXCUSE ME” to them as they try to push me away from my spot

I have been going to disney and universal regularly for 15 years or so and the proliferation of electric scooters is crazy. They are large, they get in everones way, and can be dangerous. But they have a place, and for those that really need them, I fully support you. But like service dogs, people who dont need them ruin it for those who do, and most people who use them have no medical issue other than an inability to control their eating. I can accept for some its genetics, but fact is, the majority of people on electric scooters are obese due to their own choices, and the rest of us are forced to accomodate them. Scooters are just another bad choice for this group. A little time on their feet may help them drop a few pounds. Harsh but true.

    1. Bubbles

Agreed! Last time I was at Disney there were so many scooters you could hardly get around. Most times I would see people pull up to rides then get off to stand in line. Seems scooters are being used more for a lazy way of getting from ride to ride rather than an actual medical need.

    2. Chris Wood

You are a rascist and hate people with disabilities..

      1. Simplejack

You are a moron with no reading comprehension. My point is that most people on scooters are not disabled, and they are ruining it for the people who need them. And when did disabled become a race anyway?

  12. Maria

On my last trip I used a scooter for two days due to a horrible cut and injury to the bottom of my foot. While I was able to walk a short distance, like from the scooter to get on the ride, it was excruciatingly painful. Since it was my foot, many people didn’t see the injury. I assure you, however, that I needed that scooter! Somehow, though, I managed to manuever it without ramming a single person. And no one was ride or angry to me.

  13. Chris Wood

Oh Disney is a magical place alright. People magically go from happy and calm to a bunch of pety, vindictive barbarians.

  14. Mason

This is literally just common place, I have been run over a stroller or electric cart more times than I can count

  15. Christina gallardo

We were at Disney last week my son is 9 on a make a wish trip we were in the very front and he kept waving at the characters every one of them ignored him went and was talking to all of the people who had Disney shirts on my son had his make a wish shirt on it hurt my feelings so bad that he ask me mama why they won’t talk to me I will not go back! The next day we went to universal and they made up for it the characters were so much more friendly! I tried to complain but people acted like we were crazy.

    1. Diane

We took our daughter when she little to Dianeyland. Pushing a stroller there is like you are invisible. Literally saying “Excuse me”, & having a blank stare come back at me. We were trying to catch up to my husband & other daughter before the 4th of July Parade. We enjoyed it separately.

  16. Glubber

I told my son that we would go to Disneyland when he could walk thru the park on his own. That wasn’t until he was seven.
It is annoying and selfish of others that take kids younger than five. The kids aren’t going to remember, they annoy everyone around them, strollers used as rams, and the parents don’t have a good time. Just WAIT until they get older.

  17. rich

This is nothing new been happening since park opened in 70s, its taken this long to be NEWs As far as the CODE of CODUCT…. it is like the PIRATEs CODE more of a GUIDELINE than a RULE, WELCOME to the future

Oh My! Everyone!!!! Just read all of the comments! Complaints, complaints, complaints! Every single one of you is to blame! This is what we’ve come too! If a nuclear holocaust does come all hell will break loose….every man, woman and child will have to fend for themselves! God help mankind!!!

    1. SG

First sane voice on this whole thread. We went in May, are normal people and just saw alot of other normal people. I’m pretty sure this site is run by a disgruntled, probably fired ex-Disney employee who publishes only WDW negativity. This attracts the whiners like roaches and discourages un-knowing people to visit the place. Bet this will get removed too… just watch. If it does, I’ll know I’m correct.

      1. SG

Discourages unknowing people *from visiting the place.
