I think I will give the movie a chance after it’s in streaming on Disney + but I think k a great ending would be seeing Jack Sparrow at the very end saying something to let everyone know he will be back for Pirates 7.
As colossal as the Disney empire is, the company still operates like they desperately need good publicity. Their treatment of Johnny was really nothing more than a bid to improve their image, which would have been successful if the allegations against him had been proven true. Now that the truth has come out, and their actions are revealed as unwarranted and overzealous, rather than acknowledge the mistake the company is trying to pretend they can just ignore the whole thing. In a perfect world the hit they’re going to take at the box office would cause Disney to weigh their decisions more carefully in the future. Unfortunately, though, I doubt ut.
I have seen all the films as soon as they came out. I live Margot Robbie as well but I will never see another Disney film until an apology is made to Johnny Depp AND refuse to see a posted film with out him as Cap’n Jack. As an added bonus, my grandkids will never know ANY Disney film. I have 4 grandkids and we refuse anything Disney related. Disney should have stuck to entertainment and not played politics.

Nope. Not paying to see it, won’t watch it for free. No Depp, no Pirates. I don’t blame Depp for dealing after the way Disney treated him (guilty until proven innocent), but Disney shouldn’t have treated him like that to begin with. There is no Pirates without Depp. Period, end of story…literally.

The movie will utterly flop without Johnny, and I will not be going to see it. But, depending on how the story is written, it might be possible to bring him back in the next one after this. If not, then yeah, the series is dead as far as I’m concerned.

Johnny has given us one of the best characters I’ve ever seen , who is so well played you don’t see Johnny just Jack. And the movies are rewatchable 1000 times. He’s done the character so many times just for his fans, he has such a good heart and obviously loves this character. Disney owes him big time.

I spoke to JD for quite a while, he’s a soft spoken man with a big heart. I have rheumatoid arthritis I walk with a cane. We were sitting at the table and he refreshed our drinks and asked me about the affliction of RA so I we talked about that and he said he would make donations for it. From the first time I ever met him I would never believe the accusations that AH said he did. From the 1st time I heard I knew he was innocent person he is a true Gentleman. As colossal as the Disney empire is, the company still operates like they desperately need good publicity. Their treatment of Johnny was really nothing more than a bid to improve their image, which would have been successful if the allegations against him had been proven true. Now that the truth has come out, and their actions are revealed as unwarranted and overzealous, rather than acknowledge the mistake the company is trying to pretend they can just ignore the whole thing. Yep.. Jerry Bruckheimer is a big gluteus maximus and his mismanagement was a huge screw up of haste and pride. Please come back to ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ as Jack Sparrow, for us, your fans.” His choice, no grudges, no obligation, just let Johnny be Johnny, and you won’t be mistaken. His insight in this business is way more 20/20 than his audiences eyesight. In Johnny’s foresight, watch for his strength and endurance.

I spoke to JD for quite a while, he’s a soft spoken man with a big heart. I have rheumatoid arthritis I walk with a cane. We were sitting at the table and he refreshed our drinks and asked me about the affliction of RA so I we talked about that and he said he would make donations for it. From the first time I ever met him I would never believe the accusations that AH said he did. From the 1st time I heard I knew he was innocent person he is a true Gentleman.
