Its pretty obvious that is the standard corporate written apology and not something Ezra Millar has come up with himself . Several youtube channels like Clownfish TV and Midnights Edge predicted this would be the most likely route Warner would take as a first option to try and save their movie . The second would mean re-filming Ezra’s scenes with another actor in the part and the third cancelling it all together .
I guess whether this works is whether the public is willing to swallow this excuse for his actions and to how much more will come out about what he has been up to . Some of it sounds very serious . I think what Warner are doing here carries a lot of risk to it but obviously they don’t want to right off 200 million dollars or spend tens of millions more re-filming his parts . They are really between a rock and a hard place and that is the fault of the previous administration not David Zaslav’s new one .
I’m not a judge, nor a jury, even though as a non Christian 🤘🏻 I do not condone the behaviour of Ezra Miller (I’m just letting Police, Detectives, District Attorneys, Judge, Jury decide – I don’t work for law enforcement and I don’t work in legal).
I appreciate the SnyderVerse of DC Films, I agree with those who feel Grant Gustin (TV’s Flash) should be handed over the role (of Flash), because Ezra Miller needs to take care of his legal affairs vs attempt to do PR for the Flash Movie (I do agree with those who feel Johnny Depp deserves to be rehired for Fantastic Beasts / Pirates – Depp was paid off to walk away by Warner Bros, but Disney refuses to acknowledge what the fan base wants – we can’t as a society proclaim somebody is guilty due to accusations, especially now that they appear to be untrue and malicious!)
This means as much as I don’t condone the behaviour of Ezra Miller, it’s up to a Court of Law to decide if he’s guilty -or innocent (that depends on those things you got in trouble for actually resulted in a Court Case).
