A shark in the ocean? No way!!!!! people like this need to stay home in their safe places. This is hardly news. Been to aulani. Live near the beach now. This is silly.
Have you looked at a map? It’s not even the same side of the island. Is everything on Oahu near a Disney resort? It’s an island. Sharks can be anywhere. Write what you know. This clearly isn’t it.
The author should be ashamed to sensationalize this. It’s disgusting. First of all, that beach is clear on other side of island about an hour away and not many from Aulani visit this beach as the traffic on highways to get there isn’t worth it since there are just as beautiful beaches on same side of island as Aulani.
A 6year old would not freak out any more then they would if they fell on a sidewalk, come on… ever here of Baby Shark song? They don’t know at that age to fear them! This article is insulting to the readers intelligence. Fear mongering..
The only for Aulani and Kailua Beach to be half an hour apart would be to have no other vehicles on the road and to drive like a maniac.
Kailua is nowhere near Aulani.

I have every confidence the shark could care less about people and wished they’d stay out of his home.

But 30 minutes ‘inland’ there is the danger of Land Sharks, OMG !
Even Disney can only own property no further than the high-tide line, and after that you’re on your own
