Many rides have a ramp exit. This ride is making people dizzy and nauseated (back row). Why put steps in the exit? People are falling down these steps. I hope the ramp exit is under construction, and they will divert people away from the stairs when it is completed.
One of the Imagineers (Zach Riddley, I think?) explained that the stairs take you over the return tunnel for the ride vehicle to go back to the loading area. So there is a functional reason for the design choice.
Wow can anyone just enjoy life? Stop complaining about every little thing, I didn’t even notice the stairs, we were to focused on talking about how much fun it was. If your dizzy sit your butt down before going down the stairs!
Some people make it their life’s work to whine and complain. It’s a great ride and May I point out that there is a clear warning about the intensity of the ride. If you don’t take the advice clearly presented, then don’t gripe.
Recently riding it for the first time, I think if they just added BRIGHT YELLOW at the edges of each step it would help tremendously!! Everything is light grey walking down or up… Easy fix!
Here’s an idea, please take some personal responsibility for your safety, use your common sense, and do not take the stairs if you feel off after riding.
I think complaining online isn’t the solution, this sounds like something to bring up with Disney Theme Park Administration as suggestions (maybe over time ? Team Disney Orlando will figure out how to install a ramp / escalators – which seems to work fine for Space Mountain at Disneyland).
I haven’t gone on this, so my question is how’s the ADA access? I’m guessing that’s half the reason for the elevators. I appreciate reading posts from everyone who had a great time on this coaster!

Something about using a building more that 30 years old for their shoehorned comic book trash, I am sure.

I didn’t even notice the stairs following that amazing ride! Best ride in any WDW park! (One negative comment does not indicate a backlash!)
beautiful gorgeous

Lots of attractions at Disneyland have stairs… I was surprised the first time I went. Flight of Passage has ramp or stairs…. maybe they will modify.
