The Jungle Cruise is one of my all time favorite rides.
When we had annual passes to Disneyland we were visiting for my birthday. My significant other hates the Jungle Cruise so he was making sure that I loaded on safely and took control of my walker/rollator to move it out of the way. I started talking to the Skipper and joking around while we waited for the boats ahead of us to load. I told him how much I loved the ride, and he noticed my birthday ear hat, he also asked why my significant other was not riding and we joked about it.
When we pulled forward he did the whole spiel to load the boat and then we started moving. He put the microphone in front of my mouth and said “it’s all yours” and I got to tell all of the jokes on the Jungle Cruise. I knew them all by heart because I had ridden the ride hundreds of times. At the end of the ride everyone in the boat clapped and then sang a fast version of happy birthday.
It was the most magical moment that I’ve experienced at Disneyland and I had a lot of magical moments there.
