It’s a great ride. It just needed some touchups. When the coaster stops it would give you whiplash and also it was a little rough. I think like the hulk, when it was rebuilt it got extremely smoothed out. The first hulk would vibrate and bang my head between the drop down restraint. The new one is smooth as butter. My wife and I got back from Universal yesterday and we definitely missed the mummy. A lot of coaster were down yesterday.

Absolutely brilliant ride, definitely high in our top 5 at Universal Studios. It has to have the best queue scenery and entertainment of all rides on a par with MIB, Spider-Man (IOA) and all the Harry Potter lots. We are visiting during the last 2 weeks of Sept 2022 so looking forward to getting back to The Mummy hopefully as good as if not better than before. Bring it on!

Not sure why they would risk changing a ride and formula that has made this ride the top rated mine coaster for the last 15 years. Its a ride that never gets old. I can ride it 5 times in a row and still enjoy it. Riden it dozens of times over the years. Its still such a fun ride. No other coaster or ride has the repeatably of fun like it does.

This indoor roller coaster is great, so sure it was down for extended maintenance (track – animatronics – projections – pyrotechnics) and I’d rather have Brendan Frasier still portraying Rick O’Connell in the Ride vs utilizing a new Character that will not be received warmly (especially if it has anything to do with that failed Mummy reboot!)
