At 75, I remember MANY wonderful days spent at Knott’s Berry Farm, when I was a child. Living in San Diego, we’d drive to Knott’s, with out-of-town guests, for their delicious chicken dinners after spending the DAY making memories. What a shame that this behavior will challenge how a Family will choose to spend their money…………so sad, an END to an era. It’s true…….all it takes is a couple of rotten apples to spoil it all…

Not surprised! Just look at the neighboring schools, same thing, fights every day! Way to go PARENTS! You should be so proud!

I think you mean PARENT, most of them have no idea who daddy is. They just know mommy and then there’s uncle sam who sends them money all the time.

That’s rude and uncalled for. You don’t know if the father’s are in the homes or not, nor do you know their financial situations.

Statistics. Stop condemning people that are against this type of behavior. Be part of the solution instead of creating more problems.

I’d like to solve the puzzle, Pat.

I love the image of the smiling family with 2 kids that is credited as a “Knotts Berry Farm” image. I promise you will not find that family or a family that even looks remotely like that anywhere near Knotts Berry Farm. So sad.

  5. It’s sad that theme parks have to change their rules because people in society feel so entitled that they act up everywhere they go. I grew up in Southern California. I lived at Sea World San Diego basically, I visited over 2,500 times. Many of those times I visited alone as young as age 11. It was safer than going to the local mall at the time, there were no homeless people, and my dad knew he could pick me up at the flagpole at the end of the day.

It is sad that theme parks have to set so many guidelines nowadays about everything from what you can bring into a theme park, to age restrictions, to weapons policies. Common sense is no longer common in society. People that have been fighting in large cities for years are now fighting more and more at theme parks. The sense of entitlement in this company is huge.
