Selling line cutting removes much of the incentive for parks to keep their rides fully operational. They get to blame the people not buying up-charges for having poor experiences when the reality is that being over capacity and poor maintenance are at fault.
Broke my heart to have Top Thrill Dragster closed all season. Also tried to ride Gatekeeper twice and it was down both attempts. Millennium Force was also down yesterday and Thursday’s rain cost me several hours as well .
I had been going to Cedar Pointe multiple times a year for over 30 years when I moved with my husband and children out of state. I still come back whenever I can. The park was such a clean place with great staff and always on top of mateniance to keep thing running and looking good. You always have some breakdowns, but it’s just not the same before Cedar Fair bought it. I hope things get better because I know the past few years have been hard for everyone.
