Okay, so she doesn’t think trans-women deserve the same rights as women. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But yall go ahead and keep cowtowing to the indivuals that are rapidly eroding women’s rights while getting pissed when someone brings it up.
I 100 percent agree. This is exactly how our rights get eroded. It’s one thing for people to have an Opinion, it’s another to go before Parliament to persuade the PM to do away with medical rights because of whatever you phobia you hold about Trans people or disabled or going further interjecting that whatever your fears are, are more “right” then the freedoms we all would want given in this world to simply be who we are. She crossed this line when she lobbied against national health has no right in helping Trans people. let’s take this out of irrational fear, and ask ourselves where do we stop? What gives anyone the right to demand how we decide who receives healthcare and why is a personal matter, not up to an author for certain.
From what meaning I can pry out of your incoherent comment, you seem to be mistaken. Jo testified against letting men turn into legal women. Pretty much the whole world agrees with her (and me). She did not declare that gender dysphoric people should not be treated within the NHS. She urged that puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones, which have well-known dangerous side effects, be used with caution.
Don’t bother to @ me. I’ve been a feminist and a liberal for 55 years: I know how to do it. I had transgender friends 45 years ago, very likely before you were born.
In summary: Sex is both real and binary. “Gender” is a set of antiquated stereotypes I’ve fought against all my life. And transwomen are men who do not belong in our sports or our private spaces or our crime statistics.
