This report is from a book published in 1995.

    Got anything more recent?

Why don’t you cut it out with the they/them stuff. No one likes it . It is just annoying.

Exactly. Nobody gives af. Why should 97% of the population have to alter their behavior and language for 3% of the population?

      1. Avian

The sex of this particular person is unknown.

Also, they didn’t say *you* had to use “they” – feet just used it themselves. Why should the authors have to alter their behavior and language for an internet rando?

Perhaps since you are so vehemently against all of this, you should move along and not comment on anything Disney, not give Disney any attention 🤷‍♀️
Otherwise it’s looking like a case of “The lady (or she/her, he/him, they/them), doth protest too much, methinks.”

Because it’s not known if the person was female or male to begin with? I really hate to break it to you, but most full costume characters are played by females. So taking away the respectful aspect, there’s also that. I will add, however, that maybe it’s time to get with the times.

All I know is when I saw a video of Dopey with boobs it was just another reason to dislike Chapek more.

Lol, go cry with a bottle of pills and a nice strong drink Ruby. You seem pretty miser@bIe anyway, why not just end it??

What a disgusting comment from someone on the ‘tolerant’ left.

        1. V

If we’ve learned anything from Trump, it’s that it’s time to stop tolerating a-holes.

      2. Joe

        Wow, a little harsh, no?

Why don’t you run a hose from your car’s exhaust pipe, crawl in, and start the motor?

        1. Omg, that’s my name. For the record, if anyone has had the stomach to get this far reading the comments please be aware that the Suzanne Taylor, who lives in L.A., didn’t write this!

      4. Why don’t you run a hose from your car’s exhaust pipe, get in, and start the motor?

Woahh okay, sorry some ppl are being super rude. No one should ever tell someone to off themselves no matter what’s happening.

They/them has always been used, even before transgender people became more accepted. If you saw someone far away and couldn’t tell, you’d say “them over there” or something along those lines. It’s really not uncommon to find in literature as well…

It honestly doesn’t hurt anyone and breaks the awkwardness of accidentally calling an older woman with a cold “sir” by accident. Speaking from personal experience lmao

Anyway, being transphobic isn’t a cute look either though. You don’t need to be friends with trans people but at least have a little respect for another human. The more different people you meet in the world, the easier to understand these things becomes.

  3. If you’re physically ill and need to vomit you should be able to remove your costume head without fear of losing your job. Absolutely a ludicrous and unsanitary and potentially dangerous situation. What about a sudden diarrhea attack? My god

    1. Jean

Seriously. Just proves the company is all about $. Someone in that situation should be able to leave their post and seek *on-site and independent* medical help LONG before the illness is physically evident. This is just cruel and inhuman. No job is worth potentially risking your life (e.g., if it progressed to heat stroke).

    2. Exactly why I am starting to HATE Disney!!! They don’t give a crap about their employees or guests!!! All they care about is MONEY!!! I refuse to ever go back. I’d much rather go to Six Flags parks.

    3. Anhela

Why would any of you be so heinous as to suggest someone kill themselves? What in all that’s holy has this world gotten to? You should be so very very ashamed.

This is 😥 that these People work there ass off for youbg childrens even babys as well. It dose get got in them. I feel sorry for these great wotkers. They dasurve it.💐💐💐💐😌😌😌👍👍

  5. Costume characters all have some kind of non costumed cast member nearby, even during parades. This costume character should have alerted someone that they were sick. There is no reason to continue on and start vomiting.

Not a wardrobe malfunction, but the Tarzan jungle tour guide I had was hilarious, quipping about the shoddy state of repair of some of the animatronics, making innuendo about what Tarzan and Jane were up to. At the end he said something along the lines of, “if you had a bad time, please complain to management, it’s my last day so I don’t care!”
