For those who have never visited Dollywood you’ll be happy to know the level of quality at the park now exceeds Disney and has for some time now.

I was a cast member @ WDW (every park ) and the original.
I am sad to report the Dollywood DOES exceed what WDW has devolved to.
I was at Dollywood yesterday and the quality, value and cleanliness exceeded my former employer. It’s sad that a place I loved, for so many years has faded and this little park, in the Tennessee hills is exceptional.

Will the new attraction take the place of Splash Country? It is rumored that the 2022 Shades of the Past car show will be the last. Please say it ain’t so.

    1. Cool that’s great, but I’ll stick to Disneyland.in California.

No, splash country isn’t going anywhere. If you ride the train at Dollywood, it takes you back to the large area where they are expanding

Dollywood has steadily improved over the years. Right now the rides and attractions certainly are not on par with what Walt Disney World has to offer, but the cleanliness and overall culture is certainly better at Dollywood than Disney World

It will be very interesting to see what this major new attraction is, I would love instead of another roller coaster… Dollywood built some sort of attraction with the trackless cars/3-D elements seen at Universal and Disney

My family as always made the trip from Tennessee to Disney World “numerous” times throughout the years, more than I can count… we would always stay inside one of the parks and had a fantastic time. However they lost our business when they became WOKE

Not only did their progressive/liberal politics start ruining the culture, their customer service has really suffered, while their prices have skyrocketed.

    Dollywood is a great replacement
