Disney is failing to recognize an important distinction between racial/sexual equality and LGBTQ “equality”. Unlike racial/sexual equality,

The only time that things like LGBTQ would have an effect on children is when parents and adults make it have an effect…..kids do not care on their own, they accept each other as is. So many haters here. Love how you want to conveniently just blame the “woke” group. Sorry, you need to really put the blame where it really belongs, on Chapek. He is a disgrace to Disney, and all Disney used to represent. I’m all for change, it keeps things fresh and exciting. No don’t change everything all at once, but sometimes, hate to say it, you get bored with the same thing year after year. I’m all for diversity, live and let live, you be you, and I’ll be me. I like some of the newer things, and not so much on others. It used to be I knew I could turn on Disney, before disney Jr came along as a regular channel, and my child could enjoy it. Remember Hanna Montana, High School Musical, Camp Rock? We’d watch things as a family. Never just turned my child loose to watch whatever. I parented. Sorry strayed from the subject some. If you don’t like what they are doing, then you don’t watch it, go see it, go there on that particular ride. Remember you do as you wish to do. Others may want to do differently. You have choices. So instead of being a blamer, getting your panties in a bunch, you pick what you will accept for you, and your family, and let others do the same. Being “woke” thank you FOX for this overused bs term that no real conservative truly understands, but constantly blares it out of their mouth, means accepting others for who they are, letting them live their life the way they want, while you live your life the way you want. Simple concept. Oh, and as for erasing history, I think the conservative side has done a wonderful job of that many, many years ago. What I learned in school was pure propaganda. What I’ve learned as an adult should have been taught in school. Nothing like lies being taught starting in kindergarten, no dears, the Native Americans did not get to “sit down” with the settlers for the first Thanksgiving. All fiction. How about finding something to do with your time, like learning real history, how our country really came about, learn from it, embrace it all, the good, the bad and the ugly. And from someone who would be considered “woke” by FOX news, I think it’s disgraceful they did not play Walt’s message. But hey, they’ve been changing crap for almost ten years. Hello princess got replaced a long time ago, way before the coin phrase of “woke” was in. It’s also no longer Walt Disney anything, it’s Chapek land now.

It’s pure speculation that others are now running with as though it were fact… despite Disney actually having posted a master edit of his speech… which of course they wouldn’t if this toxic conservative fantasy were true

I strongly believe the omission of Walt’s speech from Disneyland’s 67th anniversary was not an oversight but rather another step in the systematic strategy of Bob Chapek to ignore Walt and his legacy completely. Chapek wants to build his own legacy of profit over magic and anyone who has been a devoted Disney fan sees it everywhere. The once spotless parks are a mess , the food quality has degraded along with the portions. The rides are constantly breaking down and the value for guests diminishes every day. Chapek is ruining the experience along with Walt’s vision and legacy.
