  1. Ohana was great in the late 80s early 90s. Food was great service out of this world. Been there numerous times but quit going in 2000’s. Food served cold and no taste, service lousy! My kids talked us into eating the er in 2015 and still was a waste of money and time. Still lousy service and cold food with no taste!

It’s just not the same since the pandemic changes. They did keep the noodles, but they are different…can’t really pinpoint how but def not as good. Sad too, cuz it used be a favorite.

O’Hana didn’t open until 1997, so I don’t know how you could eat there in the late 80s or early 90s?

My biggest issue is the pineapple bread being served cold. I know it’s not a big deal, BUT it would be way more appetizing to eat if it was served warm. I ate breakfast at ‘Ohana and Cape May at Beach Club and I would say that Cape May is the much better option.

I personally really enjoy Ohana, but my first time eating there was earlier this year, so I cant compare to what it “use to be” like. I will say, the steak was super tough and I was highly disappointed. Second time eating there, it was better, but still not what I would call a good steak. Also, I hadn’t heard about the noodles prior to my first visit, so I didn’t have any expectations. I thought they were absolutely phenomenal. I dream about those noodles…. so good!

Everything at Disney has been down graded. The new CEO only cares about profits. The magic is gone and WDW is no longer the happiest place on earth.

You are absolutely right!!! The goal is to fleece every cent from each guest.

My family ate here in 1998 and it was phenomenal, Tender steak cooked medium. Excellent service that was quick with food and drink refills. Sadly, our return in 2016 was extremely disappointing. Tough overcooked steak and shrimp. No refills after repeated requests, and the bread pudding came after what seemed like 20 minutes We were rushed through our meal and our server seemed so unhappy and stressed. We decided to leave him a big tip to maybe improve his day. And Haven’t been back since then.

My family and I loved O’hana back in the day. Disney destroyed it. Once the tore down the fountain in the. Enter of the Poly, added the time share bungalos, and got rid of the O’hana family photos about 8 years ago, we stopped going. We went 1 time after the renovations, the food sucked, the roaming photo ops had zero pictures of me in them (even though I was standing right next to the characters. It was a sad day. We had a tradition of having O’hana family pocture every year for the family photo. No more.

This has been a number of years. We had diner in the magic castle. The food too salty to eat. The waiter asked how the food was. I told him. Too bad. We saved two years for that trip. For a number of reasons: food, price, waiting – we’ve never been back.

Ohana used to be so great. All Disney needed to do was to keep it the same, but that seems to be too much for Cheapak. It’s becoming quite obvious he wants Disney customers to be as unhappy as he is, despite all the $$$ he has.

I hope Walt crashes Cheapak’s dreams and gives him the spiritual awaiting he needs.

Of course, Cheapak will use this as an opportunity to market anti-Walt dream catchers….

Really stretching for a story here aren’t we? 100 likes and “dozens” of comments. Wow. I just ate there in February of 22. As people mentioned it’s all you can eat and not fine dining. Set your expectations properly… Enjoy the moment while you were there… and find something positive to focus your energy on. 🤙🏻

I have eaten at O’Hana 3 times over the last 25 years. I have never thought it was worth the pricing that Disney charges. It can be a good time for families with the entertainment. The food is very variable. Service can also be hit or miss. But at $55 per adult and $33 per child under age 9, meaning most children pay the adult price, I would not even give O’Hana a passing thought. A family of 4 with children older than 9, will pay $220 with no drinks, taxes or tip. Yup, hard pass!

Maybe the downgraded food is part of the “Guests need to trim their waistlines” theme. If it’s bad enough, guest won’t eat what they pay for and they’ll trim their waist as a by-product. See Disney is looking out for everyone…..insert eye roll here.
