Just more evidence that Kathleen Kennedy continues to make poor decisions, is completely out of touch with the fans. (Always has been IMO.)
    New leadership is needed.
There’s some bad eggs at Lucasfilm. And some brilliant ones.
Even a 10 year old knows to spend big on your budget for content that’s centred around the most important characters in your franchise.
The Obi-Wan Kenobi series had some amazing scenes, a few lines were truely iconic. Hayden and Ewan were flawless.
But the writing was head scratching and the CGI disappointing. Very surprisingly Deb Chow made some strange choices, with too much shakey camera action moments. The flashback pre-AtoC Jedi Temple training between Anakin & Obi-Wan was very special from a performance, action sequence & nostalgic stand point. Though the deaging of Hayden Christensen was poor at best, still I looked past this as it’sa great few scenes. The final duel between Obi-Wan and Vader saved the series. Hayden & Ewan were tremendously impressive. The dialogue was delivered perfectly and it’s impact gave all the right Star Wars feels. The young actress that played Leia did a fine job. Finally my biggest issue with the writing was the mishandling of Moses Ingram’s character “Reva”
There’s too many issues to list here.

I agree with you in all your comments except that I was so disappointed with the focus on “Reva” that it really felt to me like a poorly crafted fanfic movie than a high quality Lucasfilm production (the shaky hand held camera really got to my nerves). It used the legacy characters of Obi Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader as supporting characters to the main “Reva” heroine with Leia as a special guest star. It was all disingenuous and it felt cheap instead of amazing and something worth re-watching or caring about.
I was left with a bad taste in my mouth and would not recommend it to anyone who ever cared about Star Wars.
