One of my all-time favorites. He also had a very underrated comedy role in the movie “The Man With Two Brains” starring Steve Martin.
    He will be missed.

Time Bandits and TMNT2: The Secret of the Ooze

I loved him as Bob Cratchett in A Christmas Carol with George C Scott. Also he played the perfect cold blooded villain in Time After Time. And as Evil in Time Bandits!! Yes, he will be missed.

Sir, you did more than okay. Thank you for the fine performances that gave all such pleasant viewing experiences.

Jon Irenicus from Baldurs Gate 2 is who I’ll always remember him as. I regularly tell ppl (usually jokingly but sometimes when they’ve eaten my last nerve) “You bore me, mageling.” A simple line but in his voice he just channels all the disgust possible at being spoken down to by a much lesser wizard. I try my best to channel that same energy and derision into it when I quote it.

At first I only had the memory…then the memory of the memory!

I have been aiming to have Evil inked onto my arm for 2 years now. It will match my biomechanical ink on the same arm. With this news, I will complete this in 2022! Check out my artist’s work at sinnergtattoos dot com and you’ll see why Gwooki (artist) and Evil are the perfect recipe.

      Huh?

I haven’t seen a lot of his work, (I intend to change that) but what I some that I do remember him in is back in the late 80’s early 90’s, he was the scientist in charge of the mutant growth serum in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Also, Titanic. He was such a wonderful portrayer of mean spirited characters, but from what I’ve read, that wasn’t his real life persona! He was so very charming and kind. My deepest sympathies to his family.

It’s difficult to explain my relationship to Tron. I was being mentored by the guy who was in charge of coming up with figures for the movie. He would sit at the back of the theater, portable light focused on his sketch pad, drawing his impressions. I must have seen Tron twenty times first run. It became so tedious I couldn’t go with him anymore. But the scenes with Warner’s villain, they were always a relief. He was the movie’s villain, but my hero.

He was also in The Omen with Gregory Peck. Got beheaded by a sheet of glass. Amazing and sad scene. Also The Man with two Brains is a great film. Haribol

    RIP Morgan.

I didn’t know he had cancer. It always comes for the good ones, it seems. He was an amazing actor and, from all accounts, an even more amazing person. He may have been an actor for 50 years but he will live on for generations to come. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones. R. I. P

I’ll remember Warner as Ra’s al Ghul in Batman the Animated Series.

  12. What I remember most about actor David Warner is that he had three roles that he played in the “Star Trek” universe: He played St. John Talbot in the 1989 film “Star Trek V: The Final Frontier”, Klingon Chancellor Gorkon in the 1991 film “Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country” and Gul Madred, the Cardassian who tortured Starfleet Captain Jean-Luc Picard, in the “Star Trek: The Next Generation” episodes “Chain of Command, Part 1” and “Chain of Command, Part 2”.

    1. Linda

That’s my main memories of him too and he was stellar in each of this roles.

  13. Anna

David Warner was such a gift. I first saw him in Time After Time, and he left such an impression on my 11-year-old brain. Loved seeing him in anything after that. He made any movie better. My condolences to his family and all who loved him.
