Live streamers are a pox on Theme Parks. I would be fine if they just did a POV thing during rides and talk outside the rides, but they love to give commentary on rides. Their commentary is mostly vapid junk that is the most obvious thing, “oh look, there is a drop coming up.”
Why not, some people want to enjoy and relive their experience. For some people it may be the only time they ever get to the park. As long as it’s mounted securely with, say a chest mount or wrist mount where it is secured, there should be no problem. GoPro’s get mounted all the time in extreme sports and never come off
Entitlement at its very finest. Broke the rules and then wanted to cry about it after being told to leave the park. The world could use a lot less of the narcissistic YouTube and TikTok “influencers” and a lot more true friends and family who can put the cameras down and enjoy their time together.
I visit KI and CP all the time and Cedar Fair’s rules are 100% clear that you can not record on the rides. And to be honest the ride he was on is one of THE bumpiest ones at KI!! I am surprised he hung onto his phone!!
I work at kings island and our rule is if your cellphone out it has to be in a pocket or bag and your not allowed to have out to record. Because recording while on any of the rides is a misdemeanor and an immediate kick out of the park
So the park booted him for violating park rules. I’m ok with that, especially if his actions could endanger me and my family. Can we get staff to enforce line cutting rules as well? How about getting other parks to enforce their rules? So tired of the “rules for thee, but not for me” mentality of some people.
In Ohio it is in the law that General Public cannot film on rides. As in, there is a legal requirement to put your phone away. Special permitting and rigging is required when you see parks post on ride videos

Their should be no pov or videos unless it’s the park doing them

Seems like an entitled douchebag. You can’t hahe your phone out or record anything on rides. Could have dropped it and hurt someone.

Good. I’m glad the parks are enforcing the rules. Having phones out on rides is dangerous!

The race card, really?
Princess Cat
This is why humans should get banned from the parks and just make it only for cats.

You misspelled “dogs.”

I guess he has not seen Final Destination. I would be pissed at him if I was on that ride. Don’t endanger my life with your stupidity.

What about a GoPro on a chest mount that straps around your body?

I like how you added a “U” to color. It makes your racism sound so much classier.
