I remember Marriott’s Great America and Turn of the Century too! We lived in Wisconsin back in the day. I loved that park.

When they first opened (1976) We were a bunch of kids, we would gather up $10 and hitchhike to Great America. It cost like $6 to get in and once you were in, all the rides were free. It is truly one of my best childhood memories. I took my kids there a few times (we didn’t hitchhike, I had a car 😂) such great memories ,

The reason they’re selling to this Real Estate developer is $$$. Going to suck for a lot of kids. But money always talks.

Or just build a new park or take CGA coasters and rides to a new location near Sacramento
