I take it’s the easiest way to increase prices quickly to cover the drastically increased price of the food itself. More importantly, the labor to prepare and serve the food. Have you noticed most of the service staff is from Thailand, various Caribbean and South American countries, and more recently Kazakhstan? They have to provide rooms and board for those internationals as well. I hear they hold Job fair after Job fair and can barely find local workers. Shoot, don’t be surprised when it keeps going up like gas prices! It all just sucks right now so even a more pricey trip to BGW is a nice escape for some of us. Well, that is, while we can still afford it! Picnics at the car are starting to sound good!

Having been coming here for over 30 years, it’s completely normal that many of the workers are international. My son has been working there for over a year now, and it’s great that they were finally able to bring the international workers back with such a labor shortage. They pay really well for a teenager’s job as well, so I don’t complain about having to pay a premium for in park stuff.

Someone needs to look into how after you complete your yearly ez pay for admission it’s goes to monthly and they continue to charge your card when that’s never been done before covid . The i was charged 2 additional months and the website kept saying my passes would expire soon but what would happen is They would keep auto renewing and I don’t remember signing up for that. I’m sure it was somewhere in the fine print. I finally called in after starting new passes just for my 4 kids at about $86.00 a month when I noticed I was being double charged $156.00 for our kids new passes and our old passes that should have expired in April . After being placed on hold for over 35 minutes i hung up called back and the rep informed me that he would stop the auto renewal for July and that when the new passes ended next year I have to call in. I was being billed for 10 yearly passes apparently.

It’s a business people. They can do whatever they want! Everything has gotten so expensive and it all comes down to money. We pay 5 cents for a 2 ltr bottle of soda we never get back. Same with cans. We have no control of anything.

All of us are paying more for food at the grocery store. Why would we expect that to be different in restaurants, vacation venues and the other places we buy food?

You guys might want to find a better source than fans…. They notoriously are pretty anti Busch gardens with most of their posts and have been accused numerous times of hacking BGWs website to leak info. Not to mention the questionable way they have tried leaking other info from the park.

I love BG and am a pass holder. It’s a beautiful park, and everything is reasonably priced. I don’t care about the extra couple of cents. With the prices of everything right now, companies have to charge more. I can’t say the same for WDW, they nickel and dime you until you have nothing left.
