I’m never picky about how they try things for a series but I will say if there is a season two I agree with Tamara Morrison about bring back the older ways of Boba Fett even though it was unique to see a soft side. But I think a second season should be given a fair chance but with that change made in Fett’s character.

Only if he goes full bad ass like he was in the movies. No mercy for anyone

Right. Bad ass. The two scenes where he says maybe two words, followed by him getting knocked into the sarlacc pit by a blind man. Such a badass.

  3. Bob Cheapskate

The show was generally pretty bad. I had high hopes for Obi Wan and that show is only ok. So far Disney is taking an insanely popular franchise and missing the mark like a well trained stormtrooper.

What would be great to see is Boba Fett trying to be a gracious and fair ruler but would more or less go mad as he relies on old methods to make things happen when being kind doesn’t work. I would love to see a Breaking Bad style fall where he gets what he wants but then instead of walking away he gets greedy and loses his grip and destroys everything he built. The more he tightens his grasp, the more everything slips through his fingers.

Obi-Wan ok? Obi makes Bool of Fett look like a masterpiece in comparison.

I have not seen Bool Of Fett but I’ll blindly go with your assessment because you are obviously very knowledgeable about all things Star Wa to s

Gee, I can hardly wait to not see it! Go woke, go broke.

    Ray Park* not Parker. 😉

Boba Fett is what got me, and kept me, in the Star Wars universe. And I agree 100% with Mr. Morrison. I don’t mind new things, but the way they wrote Boba isn’t working. I’d like to see a badass do what a badass does all the while showing he’s also got a heart when needed.

Love The Mandalorian and am looking forward to Bo-Katans series and the return of Boba Fett. Tamara Morrison is a great actor in all his movies.

Boba was a minor character who died in the original trilogy. He should have stayed there. Hard to make a gerecof someone that nasty. If another season is coming then let Baba crack and go back to his nasty self. A modicum of nice can come from Fennec if the situation brings enough money.

Forgive the typos. *Hero of someone
      *Boba

Have Bobba slowly and methodically take over what’s left of the Republic by any means necessary. He seems to have a good core group of fighters and spies to take over.

Shame on everyone wanting to replace someone simply because of their beliefs ie: Gina Carano, Chris Pratt, etc. There was a time when differing beliefs were accepted , and everyone got along because we were adults about it. Now even adults act like children.

Spreading lies during a pandemic and comparing fascists being held accountable for the awful things they say and do to being a Jew in the holocaust.

That has never been acceptable nor should it ever be. If you can’t see that something is seriously broken inside of you?

      1. Bob

Can we stop with these stupid fake titles to these news stories just to get views? Nowhere in the article does it mention he’s ditching the series.

    2. Mike

“Beliefs” that may compromise the health of others and/or deny basic human rights should not be tolerated. Sorry that you miss days when hate was tolerated.

Disney has changed the concept of what Georges Lucas created. Boba Fett must return as he was created and what he was created for… a merciless Bounty Hunter. And the Power Rangers must leave the show
    Thank you…

Obiwan was the only series that had a chance to be good and it sounds like the typical Disney crap trying to run on nostalgia. Seriously, bringing Leia into it? Disney SUCKS! Something original please.

Absolutely agree. I love Star Wars, but now they’re milking it dry. Originality is winning so far: Rogue One, and The Mandalorian.

  13. Jim Badger

It shouldn’t be too hard. Just before the Mandalorian stepped in to save the series, and with Cad Bane on the scene, a plethora of villains arranged to take on Fett. All Fett has to do is take them all on and wipe up with them.

I’m so tired of star wars fans and how they don’t let characters develop, let alone have a story of redemption. This character screams the need for finding peace after what happened to his Father. He literally was reborned when he came out of the pit.
It’s like so many of them want pew pew laser battles and explosions non-stop for each episode. Without question, so many fans are just Disney haters and can’t stand them owning the franchise. Could you imagine if another corporation bought it? Seriously think about it. Oh and BTW, your boy LUCAS willingly SOLD the franchise to The Mouse… He approached them.
Plain and simple Star Wars fans need to chill out and let characters develop over multiple episodes… And quite honestly if you have too much of a problem with this then just ignore the series altogether and deny it from existing… People do that all the time about everything in life… It’s not that hard. Because for all of you Star Wars fans, Canon or not You do not need to accept the recent additions to the Star Wars universe after all it all starts off as A LONG TIME AGO IN A GALAXY FAR FAR AWAY… IN OTHER WORDS “ONCE UPON A TIME”
EITHER STOP HATING IT JUST IGNORE IT AND HOLD ONTO WHAT YOU LOVED. SIMPLE.

While clearly upset you have a good point: like it or leave it, like anything. However, we are dealing with, in this case, a character known to be paid to hunt, grab or kill. That isn’t what we get in the TV series. Instead, we get an iconic character who stands behind another allowing her to call most of the shots. Why didn’t they simply call it The Book of Fennic Shan? That would be more accurate.

I would so want to see Ahsoka Tano meet Boba Fett again during and after the events of “The Book of Boba Fett” and “The Mandalorian” season 2 teaming up with the latter, as well as Fennec Shand and maybe Luke Skywalker as well.

  16. SteveCk

Why did they not cast a younger Boba Fett actor?! He fell into the pit at the age of 36 and came out a day later at the ripe old age of +60. You can do better Disney. Spend that cash on writers that are actually fans of Stars Wars.

  17. BC

Honestly, the best episodes were the ones with Din Dijarin in them.

  18. Bob Bob

The absolute fact that The Book of Boba Fett shines in two episodes that Boba Fett is non-existent is testament to a very poorly written show. Now, if only Obi Wan could be erased from my brain: it too is so badly written. The Mandalorian is a masterpiece in comparison.

The first thing they should do is call Fett’s ship by it’s name, not just “Boba Fett’s Starship”. They don’t call the Millenium Falcon “Han Solo’s Starship”, but calling a Bounty Hunter’s ship “Slave 1” is so not PC that we can’t possibly do that. Can Fett have a redemtion arc? Absoloutely. Can he be reborn as a result of his brief sojourn into the ltteral belly of the beast? Yes, of course it could be a life changing event, just like watching a Jedi behead your father as a kid would be.
I didn’t hate The Book of Boba Fett, but I see where Mr Morrison is coming from, and I commend his cahones for saying so. Fett did speak too much, probably needed a 30-50% reduction in his dialogue, which could have been spread amongst the lesser characters if desperately needed for story flow.
My only real grievance with these D+ shows is the pacing they have. It’s like they wrote a movie script and then stretched it out to offer up 6-8 hours of slow story rather than 2 hours of fast paced visual story telling joy. Hope they give it a second series, and fix the pacing, or fold sub plots into the main story rather than giving them 2 (or more) episodes of stand alone time before weaving things back together.

The old Boba Fett tracked a ship, called it in, and in the next movie trip and fall in the Sarlacc Pit.

  21. Jimmy Pegorino

It’s great if boba Fett wants to be a bad ass but stands to reason that he’s changed a bit after being eaten by the Sarlacc and then apparently being saved by the Tusken Raiders after managing to escape

  22. WicketTheMandalorian

I hate to say this but if you really want Boba to be totally “badass”, you should recast him completely, and get some new writers in. Immediately. What a snooze fest of a show Book is!
As much as I like Morrison in his glory days of Once Were Warriors and Eps 1-3, he is also way too old and too big to play the Fett. If you compare the build of Jeremy Bulloch in Empire to Morrison in The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett now, he’s just simply way too muscular and bodybuilder like. Was Fett doing roids in the Sarlaac pit? I’ve never thought Fett to be built like Arnie, and the costume in many of the scenes just looks kinda cramped. Like the costume doesn’t fit him at all. Pedro Pascal as Dijn Djarin is clearly the proper badass now, not Boba. And trust me, that’s really, really hard for me to admit, since Boba is my favourite character of all time in SW! I dunno, Book is just kinda boring to watch, and Boba isn’t even the star of his own show, like WTF? Scenes drag (a lot), he’s got no balls now, & the action choreography is so flat, and 🥱.
