Six flags, more like sucks flags.

    1. Gary Stogsdill

      I agree with you.

      1. Kevin novak

I think the changes are outrageous why punish people that use the park accordingly that just want to enjoy but if the park offers these deals they should honor them

        1. Marc

Meal plan used to be lunch, snack, dinner each visit for for about $80 per season . Now each meal is $16.99. A family of 4 can’t afford to go. New plan is only 4 days for $40. People will stop coming next year.

    2. Mary

Unfair at this time when everything is costing more. I only got the pass for my grandson and I to go and enjoy time with his friends. But to pay the monthly fee plus pay for meals is too much

      1. Jennifer

This will be my last year going. I can’t afford the changes for a family of five. It’s not worth it. We will be looking into going elsewhere for the kids for the few times a year we go.

        1. Camille Brinkley

Feel the same as everyone I pay for season pass all year long not any more when one journey ends another begins 😪

      1. U suck

        Kys

        1. Robin RR

I think it’s very unfair I spen about $600.00 a Year for 2 adults and 1 child that’s 2 meal’s passes and I really think it’s unfair that I have to continue to pay every month even when the park is closed

    3. Eric Villeneuve

      I agree!!! It sucks

    4. Karri

I agree with you 100%, I bought my daughter a season pass with a meal included thinking it used to include the Great adventure cup to refill and drink throughout the day cuz she was on a school trip come to find out my daughter went all day without drinking a thing and it was 80° that day she was told the meal plan did not include the drink anymore and they do not accept any kind of cash as I did give my daughter cash to spend in case for an emergency it’s very upsetting to know my daughter was on a school trip and it was hot and nothing was ever given to her drink remind me she’s also asthmatic so she has to stay high and trade it when it’s hot out

      1. Mary

Same thing happened to my daughter. It’s ridiculous and the website isn’t very clear on what is included.

  2. Jennifer Charbonneau

Been a member for a year. Cancelling next month because in addition to messing with the meal plans, they’ve reduced staffing so that regardless of meal pass or not, you have to stand in line for 2 hours each time you want to get food. Between that and the long lines for the rides, you spend the whole day there and only ride 2-3 rides. It’s just not worth it anymore.

  3. Stephanie

Where do or should I start…. My Fiance and his son and I have memberships to Saint Louis Six Flags over mid America and let me just say it is very very disapointing with all the money people spend every month on a season pass, food pass and memberships and just a one day pass ticket would be the worst!! and what they get for parking and to go to an amusment park and have the water attractions at the water park and half the rides in the regular park are either not working or not running or are only running half rides because they do not have enough staff working in the park!!! I am sorry I am not trying to be mean at all but its just rediculous u plan a trip to go to an amusment park and all the money u pay to go have fun and you cant even ride half of the water rides and reg rides in the park and or have to stand in line forever bc only so many rides are running!!!

    1. Gary Stogsdill

I used to work at that park, and I quit because I got tired of being mistreated by my supervisors and certain guests.

      1. Marisol

I have been a member of
Six flags great adventure in New Jersey for over three years. With all of the dining changes it’s truly unfair and with them getting rid of memberships and dining passes this will be my last year going. My kids work here and we are only 25 minutes way so we go very very often. But the meal changes does not make it worth it anymore. They will be losing customers and I am one of them. Stop making so many changes to meal plans I pay about $80 a month for memberships for us and it’s just not worth it anymore.

    2. John

Go to indiana beach instead. Hardly no wait times

  4. Rene'

I totally agree with Stephanie. Low staff has rides and restaurants closed. I’ve been a member for years and this year is the worst so far due to staffing. I’m considering canceling at this point. Not sure if nobody is accepting the jobs or six flags is just cutting back but seriously most of the staff act so miserable being there. Something needs to change.

  5. Frank M.

I use to go to Six Flags Great Aventure. When they raised their prices so high that you have to get a payment plan to go in, I decided not to go.

I prefer going to Wildwoods NJ. Park at Daytripper lot and they have showers. I believe Daytrippers are at 24th and near the boardwalk in North Wildwood.

Morey’s daily wristband depends if you want dry rides. Waterpark rides or both. The daily band is also good for the Sightseer Tramcar until 5 or 5:30.

Morey s water park best rate is the last hours of swim before they close.

Check the Morey Piers website for more information.

Also there is a separate Waterpark called Splash Zone. I don’t think they are part of the Moreys company.

    1. ItsJBaby

We are north of SFGA and have started going to Lake Compounce because it’s about the same driving distance but a better experience. They don’t have the rides that SFGA but they also don’t have the crowds, the park is extremely well-mainteined, the employees are always great and it’s considerably cheaper. Overall going to SFGA always left a bad taste in our mouths- the lines would be so bad plus so many were down that we might ride two rides all day. You just leave feeling frustrated. At least going to Lake Compounce we always feel glad we went.

  6. Gary Stogsdill

Speaking as a former employee of Six Flags St. Louis, I personally don’t like the new changes that the new CEO has put into place. I’m hesitant to buy one of the new passes, but I am just to see how bad it’s gotten at Six Flags.

  7. CJ

It sounds like Six Flags CEO is no better than Walt Disney’s Bob Chapek …. while at the same time? Park Guests need to stop bragging online how they use their Yearly Passes (duh!) …. it’s obvious why Theme Parks are low in Cast Members, the jobs are not worth the pay (you furlough your quality employees during the pandemic, so they went to work someplace else never came back!) 😒

    1. What “pandemic”?

  8. BW

As a longtime membership holder, these new changes have me considering canceling. It’s just not worth it anymore. Why punish your all of your members who have been loyal from the start just bcuz u want to close a few loopholes? Fries used to be included with meals. NOW, it’s an up-charge! Little things like that along with many others make me want to cancel 😞 😩

  9. Linda

    Sick Flags Over Agrevation.
Stopped going to Six Flags even though it’s only 30 minutes from where I live. Got hurt on El Toro before the train left the station by a stupid ride attendant. There was a problem with the seat locking. Lap bar was released and this guy Jumps up and landed on my lapbar and smashes into my stomach. I felt the pain. I yelled not to release the train. Got off bending over in pain. Went to medical and got a ice pack. Was offered free passes and I told them what they could do with them. Went to my doctor and had a bruise on my stomach.
You will never see me in a sick Flags park

  10. Talee

Currently at park, trying to decide what to eat. The options are dismal. Crappy burger, or crappy chicken fingers, or crappy pizza. I have been a Member for several years, even through the COVID lockdown, and a Season Pass member for more than a decade before that and I am appalled at what they are doing to this park. EVERY year they made a change that makes it worse and worse.

  11. Jack

The whole entire park needs a upgrade , that park hasn’t changed at all they need to clean the park a little better and add new attraction and change it a little

  12. CG

As a Diamond Elite x2 Plus I pay for 4 Platinum Memberships, Season Bottles, and Meal Plans for the YEAR, I too am highly disappointed with 6Flags. At Great Adventure, they took the Flash Pass lines away and gave them to Single Riders, reduced your options to dry Chicken Fingers, and longer lines with much longer dispatch times. They are treating those of us who keep them a float during the Scamdemic like absolute garbage. My family and I will be moving our hard earned money to either Cedar Fair or Hershey next year. Unless Six Flags dumps Salim IMMEDIATELY.

    1. Stina

Why are you paying for the bottles? They come with your passes.

      1. Randall Olsen

My family all has season passes and we have been going a lot. I did notice several changes I am upset about. For instance I can no longer modify my burger. I know they don’t accept cash but they did take Google/Samsung/Apple pay until just recently. I don’t understand why six flags is moving backwards instead of moving forward.

    2. You’re right. That “pandemic” was just a scam. And those who put us in lockdowns NEED TO PAY.

      1. Grace

Gone here for years with season passes, 20+ at that.

We’ve seen this place go downhill over all that time. The biggest mistakes had to be that membership passes thing that you don’t see any line for anymore.

But you could see the park slowly start to fade in glory as time went on. I even worked there around when El Diablo was on it’s last year of operation in the Spanish section.

It was a miserable time for employees especially in the conditions you had to work it and is still bad. Fell into the same rut as most jobs do nowadays, want to hire kids/teens for cheap labor and not have to worry about insuring them or paying them outrageously.

The food is terrible, the guests don’t care and tend to do what they want. Employees either didn’t care or feared retaliation of the guests.

Then there’s the food pass ordeal. The man that ate there each day never exploited anything. He used the pass as intended as he was getting food that he basically purchased.

He paid for the pass with the package deal for the dining and so he did, there’s nothing criminal about that.

      2. Squidproquo

Yep, total scam with only 1,000 daily deaths nationwide. Now we can continue with traffic and gun related deaths. Pls move on from c19 already..

    3. Timothy

Cedar fair platinum passes are definitely worth it…but hersheyparks are a little overpriced unless you know how to purchase one thru a ticket upgrade to a season pass like I did this year without purchasing a day ticket

  13. Quincy

It is the typical greed by corporations. Food should be cheaper not to need a dining pass. Illegal drugs never have these priblems. Only corporate America needs these promotions. Offer a good price for a good product. Amazon was going bankrupt but eventually like Walmart they took over the market. They didn’t raise tates. They raised the number of customers. By having a good service at a good price. Six flags is raising the price for afar less level of service. Step one to bankruptcy. So.eone else will take over soon enough. Check the fights, ride accidents, lost and found, parking, and lack of shows to name a few issues.

Anyway all the best. No more six flags great adventures for this guy. Had membership for the entire family but yeah no more. Will just buy oculus instead.

    All the best.

  14. Claudia Renfro

Especially wrong for doing the customers that have been with six flags for years.I have bought annual pass for my whole family for the last seven years and only went to the park on special occasions and this is the THANKS you get.

  15. Tina

I agree with everything going on in the world. You would like to go and enjoy your time with your family Great escape six flags is a joke long lines , no food passes , half rides are closed down, the perks are horrible, and the passes aren’t worth the time anymore I’m a mother and I know a lot of family’s and friends NOT GOING to buy passes this year. Shame on you six flags.

  16. Melinda

    Please leave our plans ALONE.

  17. Joey

My son and his friends go 5-7 times each summer. My wife and I have season passes, but we people watch and walk around. Without the food passes, we’re all done going to the park. Just because a couple idiots ate like crap for years, the rest of the members have to pay the price? The park sucks enough being overcrowded and charging ridiculous prices so this is more incentive to quit going.

  18. CT

The new passes and taking away the dining pass sucks. This is my last year. 13 passes you can kiss goodbye. Along with understaff and some guests feeling it’s ok to walk around the water park in a thing bikini. It’s repulsive. I don’t care of you have the best body in the world. This is a public place for children. It’s totally inappropriate. The guests have been rowdy and nasty lately. Also, I almost got hit by a van in the parking lot when a guy was speeding and did not see me.

    1. CT

Can’t afford to spend 100$ a day in food and drinks. Gas prices are too high. Offer family days. Bring specials in. Make guests feel like they keep u in business!

  19. Susie

I definitely agree. I mean, come on, these people ruined it for a lot of families. As far as the meal plan goes, they should find a way to maybe “cap” the meals for the season. Most people do not come every single day. We looked forward to going to Six Flags and enjoying the meals as well. We would get 2 meals and a snack, plus the unlimited drink cup. So what this means is it takes a few ignorant selfish people to ruin it for families that legitimately want to go there to have fun for the day. And now they are pushing for memberships. It’s getting quite expensive. I don’t know if we will be able to go next year or at all with all their changes.

    1. Beck

We’ve had 5 season passes and meal plans for Six Flags Over Texas for the past 8 years. Doing away with the dining pass is a deal breaker for us. We won’t be buying passes anymore.

    2. Anthony

Stop blaming the people, Six Flags set their price and accepted their money. If you really think less than 0.1% of pass holders that attended everyday ate into their profits, you are as foolish as the CEO. It’s a short term money grab, that will have negative long term effects on the parks

  20. Luella

I think it’s terrible and will not go back until changes are made

  21. Sonya

I probably will not get a season pass I had one and want to pay it and they cut out the meal and they didn’t accept my payment I was paying monthly for me and my grandson, we only went during the summer because we only like the water park

  22. Stina

Their food is absolutely disgusting. I have been to 5 parks so far and New England has the best tenders.
Darien Lake Six Flags has employees with a personality of a potato. Don’t get food at their Subway in the park, the employees are horrible.
The food needs to be better.

  23. Chrissy

I totally agree. My family noticed the chicken quantity of food is less than the portions of last year as well, and several restraint options are no longer a part of the plan which limited the vegetarians in our family while the meat eaters noted their portion size was smaller, instead of 4 chicken fingers they now received three. Our favorite snack was funnel cake which are no longer included either. But above all that we’ve had memberships for years and have had to upgrade Year after year to afford the same perks which now at a Diamond level have become less and less each year at more of cost. We had more perks at platinum in the past and now we’d have to upgrade to the Diamond elite to afford the same perks of the Diamond pass as last year. This will be our last year as members as it’s totally no longer worth it for the amount of time we’re able to visit.

  24. Ed

I have a different complaint, It’s about the cleanliness of the park. Visit last year and the park Is run-down, went on kingda ka and It smell like vomit. Also wood trimmings is rotting metal rusting, no fresh paint. At this time they’re just taking in money and not Investing In its lost luster of yesteryear. They did built a new section but other than that Is definitely looking like the park that time forgot.

  25. Me and my family we use to get 6 season tickets with 6 meal plans for past 7 years, but this is the last time. It sucks, just because of few bad apples they cut the whole tree down.

  26. Marie Robinson

He’s right it’s not fair to other people. I have a diamond plus membership for 5 and I used to go almost everything weekend; guess what now I’m canceling my
Membership. I’m spending too much money to pay monthly and then food is limited

    1. Jean Boyle

Oops gotta go, I need to cancel my dining pass so I can afford to buy a drink while I’m at Six Flags for the last time….I’m going broke paying for something I use maybe 6 times a year. Shame on you 6 Flags great adventure!

  27. Bruce

Six Flags parks have turned into nothing but a PERMANENT CARNIVALS
    Run down and and dumpy.

Six Flags Great America is a dump. Over grown grass and weeds along with dead trees, peeling paint and rotting wood on the builds, Rusted railings, broken toilets. I bet the CEO is sure getting paid pretty well.

  28. Art

With the changes I no longer buy annual passes. No longer go to their parks. I have chosen to spend my entertainment dollars elsewhere.

  29. Rob hutchins

We just purchased Summer Passes and Fast Pass. Spent longer waiting on food, than the rides. 1.5 hours for food at one location.

  30. Irene

I got the summer pass for me and my son( first time in six flags this year)and I am very disappointed at the food options, there is not one place that has healthy options, everything is fast food.

  31. Melissa Henry

We went for the first time yesterday under the new way. It was horrible! Three meals cost me $140. The portions were half what they were last year and forget healthy choices. It took us almost an hour to get our order. I won’t be going back.

  32. Faresa

Totally agree! Six flags well regret this

  33. Mandy

Went to six flags Darien lake in ny this Saturday and a lot of rides and restaurants were closed and no one wants to pay $12 for one slice of pizza or a fried dough. The drink cups went up $10 from last year. The hours ate now shorter also. We decided to leave early to go to a restaurant outside of the park because all the food is ridiculously expensive. Not the same experience as it used to be. We probably won’t be buying season passes again unless things change.

  34. Lisa

We were really disappointed when we went to Great Adventure for the first time this season and could only get dinner at 1 restaurant and only chicken fingers. We were loyal patrons through the panademic but we are considering dropping great adventure passes.

  35. Cole

Six Flags’s CEO is putting price hikes in place to make up for lost revenue during this pandemic and lawsuits. The pandemic is not over. They can’t even hire enough ppl. Therefore, who wants to go. Again, liss revenue. It’s all about the Benjamins Baby. If it don’t
Make dollars it don’t make cents. Can you say cha ching?!

  36. Juan

I guess the no one notice that there are nomore signs plugging the memberships like elite, diamond, gold, & platinum cards anymore.

  37. Bryan

Yeah I’ve also been to both the parks in Vallejo and magic mountain and I wasn’t impressed with the value of the anual pass. Some of the rides made me get off because the safety bar wouldn’t go down far enough. I barely have a belly and have lost over 100 lbs. When you pay as much as they charge you expect to be able to ride every ride just like everyone else. They need to make a section of the coaser train for larger riders. They do have this on a few coasters but not all. The selection is few. I also was not happy when I had to stand in long food lines just to fill up my refill all day souvenir cup. Six Flags Magic Mountain had zero refill stations. All the filtered water fountains at the bathrooms were also not working. It was over 80°!!! Universal has the best experience in my opinion. Air-conditioning and fans in the line while waiting for rides. If you pay $200 in the park each person after food you should have adequate shade while you’re waiting in line for any ride and also feel cool. These parks need to step it up!

  38. Jeff J.

We are definitely disappointed, we have only gone once this year, in the past we would go maybe every other week. They will see it in the numbers when revenue is down. Hope they change thier minds, otherwise we won’t be back next year. Jeff J.

  39. Johnny C

This too will be our last year. Why change the food plan for all when only a few bad apples are taking advantage as it is we hardly go. They have scaled down the food plan and even snacks to overpriced crap. $14 for a slice of crappy pizza and fries. The snack plan is reduced to a pretzel, tiny bag of popcorn or packaged cookies that you can get for $1-$2 anywhere else. Gone are funnel cakes too…how much does it cost to make the 25 cents worth of batter? Johnny Rockets was part of the dinning plan but they no longer include 4 of the onion rings that they used to with the burger and fries. Last year all the major and new Rollercoaster were closed…and only reason for us going nowadays. The sea discovery center is gone, There is NO entertainment or bands…years ago saw Yes, Pat Benatar, and other bands perform there. This will be our last annual membership after buying passes for the past 15 years. Six Flags is reduced to a One flag experience.

  40. Jean Boyle

I’m highly upset. I have been a platinum member for a few years and have always added the dining pass. I only go a few times each season so the food pass was barely saving me money to begin with, now it’s not worth it at all. Way to mess up a good thing Six Flags

  41. Sherry H

We bought the diner pass for the kids. The food isn’t the best, but since you no longer dealt with cash and I didn’t want them running around with prepaid debit or credit cards. It was more convenient with the dining pass. We only went about 4 times per calendar year. Now if we go back we will be packing a picnic lunch and you’ve lost more profit. Surly you could of found a different solution to the problem. I think this change is going to bite you in the butt.

  42. David

The comment about Justice League is spot on. Some guns didn’t fire and the ones that did were so far off sight, that they may as well have been inoperational.

  43. Ray

I love how everyone seems to be pissed at the guys that utilized the food pass like it was supposed to be.

You could get 2 meals a day with a snack if you paid for the pass. He did that I don’t see the issue. If I lived closer I’d probably do the same. It’s a cheap lunch that you’ve already paid for.

I’m in San Antonio and have stopped by Fiesta Texas a few times to grab a bite to eat. Only thing we’d ride would be the train to the back of the park.

  44. Sara West

We live in San Antonio and have had season passes for years, including parking and the dining pass.
As a Diamond Elite member, we continued to pay for our membership all through Covid, without parks being open.
This year Six Flags is ALL about the money. Areas that were used for Diamond elite are now 20.00 per chair, the food options are horrible. As a person who has a gluten allergy my food choices are greatly limited.
This will be our last year as members. For the money we spend, my family could take a really awesome vacation.

  45. Ramon

Have season passes for the whole family including the meals and funnel cakes for there snacks, now you can’t get the funnel cake and cup drink for the season, all food and drinks went higher and the the price for tickets ain’t changed, Six flags is greater, but the changes made is unfair to pass holders ,need to give pass holders better pricing.

  46. T

Was given the run around when purchasing the ultimate pass for my The family and was told there no longer giving cups for free when it clearly states on there website that it comes with a free Coca Cola coo wich is there new 2022 cup ?? They refused to give it to me so I had to purchase a cup on top of all the passes I just purchased .
