Song of the South has been tremendously slandered. It was a story that lifted up and honored Uncle Remus in a very great way. Yes, it started from the situation that he was in at that time, immediately post slavery, but that was necessary for the honoring. So Disney isn’t getting rid of it because it’s racist, because it’s not racist. Disney is getting rid of it because it doesn’t fit its work agenda at the moment.

I grew up loving Disney, but that was a long time ago. It’s not the same Disney as when I grew up. It was right respect then, but now that company is doing the work of the Devil.

Things change. You can’t keep things the same forever.

We still have the Mona Lisa. No one has updated that because it’s a priceless masterpiece. So much at Disney is also a masterpiece, and that of Walt himself, so when they make these excuses for updating things, because of their woke agenda, they are doing something very bad. But just like what the liberals do in other areas of life, they just make a good excuse because they’re great con artists.

Lou Q–what exactly is the woke, devilish, hidden, liberal con artist agenda as it pertains to a log flume ride?

First of all you never re-theme a classic attraction…such as Splash mountain or Space mountain or any of the mountains.

It’s called a classic for a reason…the reason people get tired of other the parks is because as soon as that movie/ride is old…it is forgotten and boring…back to the future…backdraft…terminator…shrek and so on…Not Disney…you can even get on Peter Pan most of the time without waiting an hour…but what are you waiting for cardboard cutouts and some twinkling lights is really what it is…not at all…it the past, nostalgic, great storyline fantastic music, beautiful characters and so on…you will continue to ride and wait as long as it takes because you’re hooked…the smell on pirates, the smell on splash mountain, the music, the characters the theming…the incredible work that the original imagineers created and we have been hooked ever since…these attractions should not change & cannot change…the whole point is so fans will continue to come back year after year…I can tell you this…if they replace a classic such as splash mountain with a frog and space mountain with Buzz…it won’t work. People won’t return year after year to see Buzz sorry…we need the original Disney…Walt Disney…who said to…remember it all started with a mouse…which we are moving further and further away from…there is more Pixar than Disney characters…which i still love Pixar…but in its right place an attraction in Florida with unlimited room…Disneyland is to be left alone and untouched.

It is the original park…and will last to time indefinite if it stays original.

If these attractions change then what…is thunder mountain next…pirates after…Matterhorn…tiki room…maybe remove walts light and his apartment….Disney is currently changing attractions thinking it’s better…yet over time they will flop…no one will continue to want to go to Disney parks….because it’s all new and whatever is currently….that’s a universal thing not a Disney thing.

Walt said…Disneyland is your land…here age relives fond memories of the past…no it can’t it’s becoming all new…there no past anymore.

Disney needs to stop listening to few and listen the the larger group.

Keep splash mountain….keep space mountain…tomorrow land just needs updating not changed completely with new theming.

Disneyland is the greatest thing ever created and it needs to be protected.

Sorry for my rambling…I just can’t imagine the greatest park with the greatest attractions changed for no reason.
