I think it’s great!!! About time ,I have argued do many times with these kids cutting the line ,thank you Knott’s for enforcing this now I can’t wait to go back with my family

Cracking down on line cutting is a major upgrade. Nobody enjoys being ‘cut’ in line. It’s awesome that they are taking steps to address this. My family looks forward to visiting Knott’s real soon.

I was there in Feb from GA visiting family. By the second half of the day I just took my 6’4 250 pound body, looked at the kids trying to cut, and said nope not happening. It actually started to become more fun than the rides. The look on their faces each time was priceless. They were so use to everyone just blindly letting them do it they didn’t know what to say. Not one kid physically tried to go past me. Most of the time they turned around and left the line. That’s the problem with society these days, everyone knows what’s going on but no adults stand up and say no. Everyone’s to scarred. If more people did we’d have a society that looked like the old days with law and order. Bad kids sure, weak-scarred-fearful-weenie parents and adults absolutely- the old phrase “it takes a village” means nothing today. Wake up society.

I did the same thing the last time I was at DL once to a group of teenagers and another to a group of adults.

It was a bad time that all team parks get strict rules and also should stop selling liquor inside the parks

I think it’s funny that they suddenly see this as a problem, it’s been an issue at Knotts for a long time, I’ve even seen employees help, likely their friends cut lines

  6. Emily

Line cutting is a problem that continues to get worse. I’m happy that Knotts finally put their foot down. We hope it lasts.

I am so glad they are doing this. People who cut in line are selfish and rude and they need to realize that everybody else in line paid the same amount they did to enjoy the attractions and that means everyone must wait their turn. It is shameful, especially since after the pandemic that there has been a lot more adults misbehaving and thinking that the world revolves around them. I wish every theme park will do this.

Best thing a decent parent can do with any of the theme parks in California is to not take children period. They want children to becomes the rides as they cater to a sick twisted crowd of mentally ill garbage.

Not to take their children? “Thay want the children to becomes the ride as they cater to a sick twisted crowd of mentally ill garbage?” First “Manuel” learn proper English. Second, parks are made for kids first and foremost. And last, it’s perfectly fine to have someone who is as negative as yourself stay away from the parks so the rest of us who love taking our children to enjoy what we have over the years don’t have to listen to whiney crybaby adults.

LOL, Manuel, that was the saddest attempt I’ve ever seen at “trying” to be an “anti-woke” Dumpist. Get a life.

Thank you!! I was so upset that everyone was cutting on our last trip June 2nd. So glad that they are doing something about it!!

  10. I use a power chair and have hit or nearly hit teens running or people not paying attention..Also the bouncing of the basketballs, playing tag…The leaving the line for any reason, you know kids all of a sudden its potty time! That should be allowed..The foul language I hate…That is adults and kids😩😩😩..

We saw this recently. It felt good to know that the park acknowledged this happening and did something about it. Basically the noticed And instructed them to leave the line to the back like everyone else.

Good for Knotts Berry Farm for doing this! Disney could take a lesson from this. Line jumping is extremely rude and disrespectful towards other park guests. The only people that are allowed to Line jump are people who have disabilities.

People that buy front of the line passes are cutting but no one says nothing about that. No let’s give poor teens more crap.

    1. Ken

All these front of the line pass buying is total B.S.It makes children whose families have maybe saved up for their visit as a once-in-a-lifetime trip feel like they are unimportant. The recent Kardashian garbage that happened at Disneyland when they rode the Teacup ride (and I’m sure many other rides) while the “general” public with their small children had to stand there and watch made me so angry and sick to my stomach to read about this. I’m a retired Combat Medic and retired nurse who fought for our freedoms but I did not fight for overprivledged snobs. I wish I had been there because I would have intervened and forced the ride operator to allow everyone on the ride’s avaliable seats. And then I would have told the Kardashian clan that they are no better than anyone else and teaching their kids treating others is bullying and not right to do.

I was in line for Jaguar when that happened. Security was called and the entire party (older adults and teenage children) was escorted out of line. It was a very well-handled peaceful process thankfully.

It’s time to boycott and cancel knotts, they have been known for racism for years . They often target black families and families of color , accusing them of things that don’t fit their “standards” of behavior. It is unethical to continue to treat people this way after allowing them to spend hundreds of dollars to enjoy themselves .

    1. Billy

Hmm.. not sure about that gurrl.. I’ve been going for years and there are plenty of black families there.. I’ve never seen any “targeting”. They simply don’t have the staffing for all that nonsense.

  16. Cindy

Knotts is infamous for “line place holders”. It’s usually 1 or 2 people passing through everyone in line saying “excuse me” while everyone just reluctantly rolls their eyes. Last month we were in line for the river raft ride when of course, we get the ole “excuse” from behind. Not one, two, three… a family of 13 people! we’re “excusing themselves” to meet their party. & this wasn’t a group of high schoolers. It was grandma, grandpa, aunt, pet sitter, tax adviser… apparently. I doubt this enforcing will last, but it needs to be stated clearly and make examples of these people who think there’s nothing wrong with doing that.

It’s mostly teenagers, but I’ve seen plenty of adults doing it also. They not only cut line at the rides but at the food locations as well. When you say something to those clowns they actually say they were there the whole time. Glad Knott’s is trying not to let them ruin everyone’s day.

  18. Robin Depaul

Sure, its great that Knott’s made a list of required behaviors, but why did they have to? Why are the kids out of control, have no common sense, or moral code of decency? Poor parenting. It is too bad a Theme Park has to take on the role of parenting.

Do they still have the trolley with the “knottsberry” on it they did when I was a kid obviously not the same guy he’d be deceased by now we were there when the Colossus was still up and running

    1. Random Old person
