Uncle Clarence will probably make this illegal too, so get it in while you can.

I love how you cowardly demoKKKrat RACISTS hide like typical keyboard ‘warriors.’ We see your racism.

        @Erik Jeffries
How come your sister and your kid’s mom is the same person?

          Oh snap

It’s not just at WDW parks. I’ve seen collections of hair ties on the sides of rides at Dollywood as well. I don’t find it interesting. It’s just littering and disrespectful.

  3. Gabrielle

The fact it’s not earrings always bums me out 😂

  4. Karey

Littering. Disrespectful. Just because one did it, doesn’t mean others have to.

  5. Norm

It’s better than the gum throwers. At least hair ties can be picked up easily. People just don’t care. We’re in the it’s all about me age.

I don’t like seeing any type of littering on a ride. It’s just rude and makes the ride unappealing for others. Let the fantasy go on!!

People in other countries think Americans are pigs. This shows you that they are correct. There is no need to do this. They should stop it already. It scums up the ride and shows you what scum people are. Litter is litter whether it’s on a street or an attraction.

So according to you “only Americans” throw hair ties? Umm, that’s laughable, because so many foreign tourists visit the parks and do this just because they read an article like the one above.

I remember once reading that a lady, not from the US, threw coins inside a plane engine for good luck.

Funny how someone not from America can do that. People all over do similar things.

I don’t like it at all. It looks ridiculously disgusting to me.

  9. Victoria

Disney knows this so why isn’t it cleaned up every night so no one copycat it

    1. Sora

Didn’t they mention they do in the article? Thing is they need to nip it in the bud. Cleaning it up doesn’t make people stop but if they enforced rules. Though they would need to use good judgement.

I just rode it on June 7, didn’t even see the hair ties! Guess I was too busy looking for Yeti 🙂

    1. Dave F

When you found the Yeti, was it dancing to Disco???

It looks ever so disrespectful to a place that “
    appears to be a Mountain.
Please, teach your children to admire the view, untouched; if you please . 🌟🧡🌟

  12. J

Enjoy the scenery for what’s it worth. A Hugh scale ride on top of a Mountain.
Please be respectful of your surroundings.🌟🧡🌟

  13. J

Very sorry Joe, for the disrespect of your creation, and time with Disney; well over Thirty years spent working on the Mountain.
My best wishes to you on your new endeavors
    🌟🧡🌟

  14. I would like to know what does the photo on the right have to do with the photo on the left of joe Rhode & Josh Gates of them holding a yeti footprint? They don’t mention anything about joe Rhode & Josh Gates holding the footprint?🤷🏻‍♀️🙄

Not a fan of seeing hair ties / scrunchies …. I agree with everyone who’s turned off by this littering (I equate it with vandalism).

Alas, I expect a Sign will be put up in the queue line having to explain “please don’t ….. ” because now we need a Sign for everything. 🙄

  16. Ben

Is tossing a coin in the water also considered throwing trash?

    1. Kaz

      Yes and polution!!

  17. John

You’ll also find the hair ties at the end of the Candymonium coaster in Hershey Park.
