Yes! The three caballero ride in Mexico at Epcot. It was the end of the ride but it was stuck and we had to be walked out through the back lot behind the GM Test track.
As an annual passholder, I went to Disneyland at least once a week for a number of years which increased my chances of being stuck on a ride. My one bad experience was having to walk off the Alice in Wonderland ride. I am blind in one eye so my balance is slightly off and I had gone alone on this occasion. The castmember led us through the “backstage” area which had numerous cables on the floor. I was concerned that I would trip so it made the experience a bit less than “magical”. It was interesting, however, to see something very few guests get to see.
Indiana Jones- once stopped in the temple with the big cobras. The lights came on for a while, which took away the creepiness… unfortunately. Most memorable was getting stuck right under Indy hanging with the big round boulder ready to fall on us. Good times.
This isn’t true. The original ride featured a Peter Pan cast member but was quickly removed during its initial release. The documentary on Disney+ even speaks about this.
Yes..the opening silver geode ride in Epcot. We hung backwards and tilted at steep angle for over an hour! No one told us anything! I was terrified. Never went back.
