She, like so many People, specifically on the Conservative Side, simply do not want consequences. They think freedom means they don’t have to have any negative reactions to things they say… the very definition of entitlement.
And if you look at those who are that way from an unbiased perspective, they are simply whining.
These people whining, are the death throes of a species of hate, as they are facing extinction. Extinction because they refused to adapt, or evolve. And in the end, I feel sorry for the majority of them…. many were manipulated into thinking this way.

Negative reactions are fine. Silencing people, even if in legal ways, over saying things certain people do not like, is not fine. People like you would scream if the people on your side of the political aisle started getting silenced over all of the hateful things they say.

It is sad they canned her, however IMO she was a bit foolish in what she said. Unless she really didn’t care if they fired her, the argument she made about being a conservative in modern times kinda-sorta being like a Jew in 1930s Germany, was asking for it when she knew they were looking for an excuse to fire her. Now having read what she actually said, she didn’t actually say what Disney claimed she said, i.e. she didn’t specifically say that being a conservative in modern America is the same as being a Jew in 1930s Germany. But she worded the statement where those inclined to twist it as such could easily do so.
