What a trashy person, so glad he isn’t in disney anymore.

    1. Russ

      You should off yourself

    2. lou

      The mouse is no longer.
He has eaten so much of the people’s Earned money he has turned into a fat rat fink!🤮

Wow, I’m glad he outed Disney, this isn’t the first nor the twentieth story like this I’ve heard. And who are YOU to call someone “trashy”? Calling someone “trashy” is completely “trashy”. And when one writes something like that the public takes it as you are a bitter, nasty, and feckless person that probably never made it to WDW or you did and got kicked out of the park five minutes later because your kid kicked someone in costume with 5 minutes…sweep your own porch before calling people names because the same could be said about you with such an uncalled for and “trashy” remark..

I agree. Giving away a product from the employer is theft in my eyes. He needed to bring this grievance forward while working there.

Grievance? He was told to commit fraud by his employer! Save your ire for them, unless you truly are a bootlick for the owner class.

  2. EricJ

    Wow, he gets upset easily–
I put it in the same category as those confusing Starbucks sizes (“Tall, Grande…Which one’s Regular?”), although, granted, that’s probably a bad comparison to make on the whole “Trash” thing.

  3. Already was

I don’t think the difference of 4 oz is really what makes the concessions in Disney a scam.

Disney spends more money on convincing people that it is a magical place than they actually do creating the magic they promote.
The thing that amazing me is that people are so easily convinced that their experience is magical.
Nothing they offer is worth the price they charge.
The food is below average, the parks are over crowded especially for the admission price they charge. You could buy a car or have a sizable down payment for a house the current price it costs a family of four for a week at WDW..
Stop drinking what they’re serving people! There is no magic.

2103 large is not the same as 2022 large. All cups at Disney have been shunk down so their is no “large”. With the price also doubling.

I worked for Disney, they treat workers just as bad as guests. It’s all about money nit spreading magic. So he was right giving away free ice or charging the correct price. I spread the magic like he did, because guests spend plenty there. And Walt would be happy that workers like us truly made the magic.

Indeed! When I worked there, I heard testimonies that CMs regarded their teams as “families” and that they watched out for each other, and depending on where one’s stationed at it is very true. Doing the best that you can for the Guests to ensure that their families and experiences are something to enjoy; the interactivity with the Guests are amongst the hardest and yet the most satisfying part of being a Cast Member.
However, that’s not always the case. You could be the most friendly person there and a manager will still stab you in the back: promising extra shifts in exchange to transfer to a location with SIGNIFICANTLY LESS hours for schedule (making the claim that “you wanted” the transfer). Once the transfer is complete and you’re only scheduled once or twice every week or two and you call upon the condition for picking up “extra shifts” but being “unable to”. Basically speaking, you can be extremely dedicated in what you do and jump through many hoops to ensure that you’re doing your part for the team/company (and then some), but that wouldn’t do much to protect you from termination and unable to join the team again. After years of trying, and seeing what is going on there nowadays, it’s a lost cause and I pray that the current CMs/DCPs be careful with how they operate as just as easy as they’re there they can be culled just as fast, sometimes without explanation

Working there on the college program, this does not surprise me in the least. We were treated like crap because we were the lowest on the pay grade. Anything “magical” that we did came from our own pockets. I remember

  10. What?

Tell me you didn’t listen to the video and only read the audio captions without trying me that’s what you did. “Hoodwinked”

    1. What?

      *without telling

      Bwahahahahahaha!

  11. Juan

I’m glad he gave out free ice cream. Sad part is…this gigantic corporation couldn’t care less as they pay 10s of millions to the politicians as they’re the “real”constituents that matter!!

    1. Pat

Get rid of (Iger) CEO, ASSP. He is the RUIN of Disney. I was an avid Disney fan, annual pass holder go 10 years. My just visit (2022, March), will probably be my last. Very dissatisfied with the quality of the experience. Even stayed at the Grand Floridian. The accommodations were fine, but we didn’t spend our time there. We were in all 4 parks, only to be disappointed. Get a new CEO PLEASE!!!!!!

      1. B D

Iger hasn’t been the CEO in over a year bro.

  12. Doesn’t surprise me. Walt is probably rolling over in his grave with the way Disney is run these days. I won’t ever go back

  13. Pat

Iger (current CEO) needs to be replaced ASAP!!!!!!

    1. Dawn

Iger isn’t the CEO any longer. Hasn’t been for a while.

    Hood winged?

    Try “hoodwinked”, cupcake.

  16. Get Serious

And we have another wannabe Insta-celebrity.
What kind of story can we embellish so I can see my worth in “Likes”.

  17. Walt would be ashamed

Disney is the magic kingdom alright…they make your money magically disappear by indoctrinating children. Those children grow up and then introduce their children to Disney, then the whole process repeats itself. They are the biggest scam artists ever. Disney is nothing more than a marketing machine operating under the guise of a family entertainment experience. Every penny paid at their parks or for a piece of their merchandise simply allows it to continue.

  18. Hugh Litzer

8 years ago, somebody gave out medium milkshakes as large. What a scoop.

  19. Marc P

    “Thief admits he stole stuff”

    Fixed your article title

  20. SusieQ

Yeah, giving away the ice cream for free is just theft. I’ve worked plenty of retail hours, and if I started giving stuff away.. I’d of been fired. Selling that product was paying my wages.
