LOLOLOL, ah, of course, out of the mouth of an entitled meathead. The dude got her to go THROUGH a gate that said cast members only, and climb onto a stage meant for performers. And YOURE talking about “intruding on others property”. LOL
Yes, a simple “excuse me, you’re not allowed to be here” would’ve Been better than taking something out of someone’s hands. You do not take other people’s things, for any reason. That’s entitlement and stupidity right there. Dude has big balls but no brains.
Becuase the stage is filled with loaded pyrotechnics. HAD he not handled the situation that way there could have been ‘come on man. let me finish’ or other arguments. What he did was the absolutely best way to get them to move fast and quickly and safely.
White boy does something like that to me he gettin a little more than just a Knockout. I’m just being real. Especially if I got permission to be there. You play hard, we gon play harder.
That guy…is a friend of ours we have made over the many years…and one who has won awards for outstanding service..within the park his as famous as mickey himself. This would of been done with a very very good reason.
I would have punched him directly in the face if he took my personal property out of my hands like that. He’s obviously a moron to think that is ok. That’s called “STEALING”.
He could have waited a few more seconds then graciously ushered them off the stage. There is NO excuse for the way your friend behaved, snatching the ring when the guy was on one knee. I hope someone is that rude to him if he ever proposes.
This amuses me for SO many reasons. IF the disney emp has no right to touch their property. Why does the “Guest” (see how I used that word, guest) have the right to go onto a roped off area that is not meant for people on Disney PROPERTY?
Just FYI. The stage is filled with Pyrotechnics that where loaded for a show that was going to start soon.
LOL. As if you would have just strolled out of the exit without getting tackled by security before you could move two steps. I love the people acting as if catching a couple of assault and battery charges are no big deal.
Agreed. The cast member’s breaking up the proposal probably caused more attention then the proposal. Also do you have to get permission to breathe or walk ? I’ve lost my interest about this mega corporation, not worth my time.
That is a ridiculous statement. I bet if it were a gay or lesbian couple, they would have allowed it.🤣 Disney, in their idiotic, woke, cancel culture fashion, over-stepped their bounds. Now they will not call boys “boys”, or, girls “girls”. Screw Disney. Oh, and the people who think it’s wrong to propose to your future spouse. Disney is virtue signaling. Also, I would have gone to jail if that hag stole my ring. I would have filed charges. Theft, assault (she had to have made contact in order to take the ring). Sounds to me like you would fit in well with their staff? Robots.
U must feel really threatened by the existence of gay people to try and make this, something completely irrelevant, about them. You may want to try therapy.
If it’s for all of us then why is Disney so expensive? It’s no longer for the middle class, it’s for the rich making the rich richer. This cast member was out of line and the man asked permission. Disney should pay for their wedding.
LMAO!!!!!!! Disney has no reason to pay for their wedding, it wasn’t a big deal and the cost of a wedding is way to high for that. They should not have been up on the platform.
You sound like a miserable horrible person who likely isn’t married and likely will never will be. This isn’t infringing on anyone in the park, in fact it was done in an area no one was at, so your comments make no sense. You’re obviously a bitter lonely person.
That’s why it was a big deal. If one couple gets away with this and it goes viral then tons of people will want to do the exact same thing. I can already hear the whining “but I saw on twitter/FB/tiktok that this other couple did it. Why can you just let us too?” Repeat that about a dozen times a day per CM in that spot.
It appears they are on a stage, used for the talent to perform on, and not an area for guests…
However, that cast member was lightning fast!
They look like they just picked the wrong spot.

I would be interested to know who was the CM to give permission. If it was an official Disney confirmed permission, I feel like all the CM’s for that area would have been aware of the situation. They would also possibly have some sort of escort with them. I actually find it really hard to believe a regular CM just gave them permission to be on a restricted area, especially if the stories are true that it was just loaded for a show about to happen. That particular CM should be reprimanded. Especially if HE didn’t have permission from higher ups AND didn’t inform his other CM companions in that location.
But for me, just hearing some guy on the internet saying ‘oh, yea, sure…he had permission’ isn’t enough for me. I feel a lot is missing from this story and too many people are just judging by emotion right now.

At the end of those scriptures the Lord shares how HE HARDEN PHARAOHS HEART ONCE & FOR ALL. The Exact same thing will happen to ALL of these people who don’t want to have Anything to do with 💝JESUS💝
I’m sorry that happened. Kids are exposed to so much so much younger now. At least you were the one there at the time and you could explain things well.
Good. Maybe they should be taught tolerance somewhere if you’re such a bigoted pos. Sad that even Disney has more morals than you do and we see how bankrupt they are in that department. foh fascist.
Hey, Mickey,
How about “RIGHTS ARE RIGHTS”? . Everybody should have the SAME rights. People who are LGBTQ, straight, CIS, male, female, Black, Asian, etc. should all have the SAME rights that a protected equally. It’s not that certain groups want “special” rights, they just want the same protection from being murdered in the street that other people receive.
They/them aren’t appropriate pronouns. You can choose from she/her or he/him. That’s it. People are one or the other and not both but thanks for playing and trying to push your agenda on the rest of us yet again.
Who asked in the first place? Why is one opinion on the matter welcome and the other not? Aside from hypocrisy of course. Support free speech or don’t, at least be honest to yourself.
Most of what I’m seeing from the anti-Trans responses have been less “opinion” & a lot of “get thee behind me, Satan”. I sincerely hope that God & His Legion of Angelic Middle-Management show up for those who have been waiting for their millisecond of *R*A*P*T*U*R*E*
You seem to think that one day every person in the world that has any connection to a Trans-person woke up and screamed, “Today is the day we make every Transperson’s life 1,000x worse than they already are!”.
I’d kind of like to know who asked in the first place, myself.
BTW, asking someone who the Hell asked for their opinion has nothing to do with “free speech”. The Constitution only talks about free speech as it pertains to Federal besiness.
Isn’t it nauseating? I’m tired of the constant indoctrination attempt. Believe what people want to believe but don’t try and gag me with this Trans bull crap. Brainwashing at its finest. It’s gross. Thank you for standing up. Look at how attacked we are because we still believe in male/female. Geezus
So who authorized YOU to speak for “the rest of us”? I don’t remember signing off on you being appointed “grammar cop”. Those inappropriate pronouns that are causing your moral outrage chubby to siphon off too much blood from your brain are used by everyone, including YOU, that speak or write the English language multiple times every day. They, them, etc. can be used and, indeed, ARE used to refer to individuals and/or groups of individuals equally.
The “agenda”/propoganda that you’re trying to push onto “the rest of us” appears to include disenfranchising a significant number of voting-age U.S. citizens, hoping that they’ll just not vote, failing to notice that they outnumber Republicans by at least 3 to 1 until it’s too late.
Boy, you sure seem irritated about something that isn’t that big of a deal. You always get so worked up like this? It can’t be good for your health or blood pressure. Have a beer and/or smoke a little grass if you can’t touch some instead. You might feel better afterwards.
And why exactly do you think that /anyone/ cares what you have to say either? Sometimes it is best to say nothing rather than coming off as a bit unhinged like you did in response to the other comment.
PS you look like you have a writing disability putting so many words in upper case. It loses any authority you are trying to give the word when you abuse that so often.
Mar is a little slow and so are you for making them think that putting pronouns in the comment section of a disney news site will make a difference to anyone. But please do continue on while the rest of us ignore you.
Human rights are human rights and there are only 2 genders & 2 sexes. How do I know? Because both sex change surgery and gender reassignment surgery offer only 2 options. Male and Female. Man and Woman.
You do know that isn’t true, right, Christopher? First off, what exactly do you think is the difference between a “sex change surgery” and a “gender reassignment surgery?” They both refer to a variety of different types of surgery, though the former is a little dated. Additionally, not all trans and non binary people even choose to pursue surgery in the first place. And finally, there are a variety of surgical outcomes one might choose, including some which remove all external sexual organs entirely. This isn’t a relatively common procedure, but it can be done, and many who choose it report happy outcomes.
Now, I realize that you don’t know or care about any of this. The “only two genders” is such a tired, lazy trope, after all.
I read those park rules at the link, and saw nothing about restricted areas, permissions, or what can and can’t be done (aside from disruptive/violent behavior, etc).
If its clearly sectioned off…..which would of been while waiting for a parade for that specific area the Cst members have a duty of care….any restrictions are made very visible.
He would never of done that unless was absolutely necessary
Nothing says happy memories like get arrested for assault and battery right after proposing. All you armchair warriors need to take a breath because we all know you wouldn’t fight a CM.
The OP said that their friend (the guy) had permission beforehand. That’s why the guy is gesturing off camera to say that another staff member said they could do it.
From what I am seeing it sounds lile the employee he asked didn’t have authorization to let them up there. That isn’t the couple’s fault yet they had their whole day ruined by getting the ring snatched and escorted away like that. Rude. I get it. But rude none the less. Not like we as customers know the company heirarchy.
This is one of the many reasons I will never in a million years ever visit any Disney park for any reason whatsoever! I would’ve snatched his stupid head off his shoulders for him!
All the entitled comment. SMH. Disney is a private property. You can go only to certain public areas. If it says do not enter or cast member only then you shouldn’t entered it. It’s like inviting a guest to your house and then they start fooling round in your bedroom. Would you be ok with that!?
Play stupid games… He bullied a trainee to letting them on stage and then the more senior staff member stepped in because this stage is rigged with pyrotechnics.
I proposed to my wife 14 years ago at Disneyland California, at Snow White’s Wishing Well.
Fortunately, nobody was around when I did it (I was too nervous to do it with a crowd watching), but it worked out well, and no cast members said anything to us about it other than “Congratulations!” after my wife was telling anyone and everyone the story that day.
He admitted he didn’t have permission on reddit in the comments, then deleted the post and re-posted saying that he did have permission. The Paris park isn’t run the same way as America, if you’re breaking a rule they won’t wait to “keep the magic alive.” If you want to be on a stage behind a gated area (they hopped a gate to get to the stage) then you’re going to have issues. These things need to be planned out, you don’t just go where you want just because you’re proposing. Sorry. It’s amazing how many people lie just to go viral.
see…this makes sense to me. I wish he didn’t delete that post as I would have liked to have read it. He knew he was in the wrong, like most of the tik tokkers, bloggers, and ‘Disney Adults’ who think they have some sort of ownership of the parks. They thought they could get away with it, and didn’t. I am sorry Disney caved into this and is allowed the CM to take the fall for doing his damn job to keep people and the park safe.
This! The Cast Member, who is an absolutely awesome person and very good at his job, had to prevent ths deliberately staged breach of the rules in an area that the staff are constantly having to remind guests is off limits. They only needed a couple more seconds to get their Instagram or Tik Tok video which would have been shared with a “how badass are we?” caption. The guy would never have been given permission to do it there, any Cast Member who did that would be risking their job.
There is just a way you go about certain things and that wasn’t it he could’ve politely asked them to step down and at least still preserve their moment he literally snatched it away from them.. I get he has a job to do but that was very inappropriate I know I’m only a drop of water in the millions that Disney gets every year but I won’t be adding to that again me and my husband buy tickets for our children every year but this put a bad taste in my mouth shame on that man and shame on Disney that was cruel
If he gave them a choice or “asked them” to move politely they may have tried stalling and convincing him to allow them to finish. If it is loaded with pyrotechnics, they had no choice but to make them move off of the stage. Also, the longer they stayed up there the more danger they were actually in. Safety first.
What a JOKE! Too bad the guest did smack that cast member for running off with the ring. Since Covid, it seems that employees have used it to push “power”. The forcing of masks, distancing and such. Once they got that in their blood, boy howdy, don’t break ANY rule. My eyes saw no harm in what that excited couple was doing. Notice the hurt in their eyes when the cast member stopped them. No show was going on. But yet that cast member had to push his “power” on them. I was in customer service for a bank and an airline for a combined 45 years and rules can be bent. If I was the supervisor in this situation there would be some apology given, unlimited Genie+ AND an explanation to that cast member on how to chill.
Play stupid games… He bullied a trainee to letting them on stage and then the more senior staff member stepped in because this stage is rigged with pyrotechnics.
They allow parents having their naked children at the water fountains while changing their clothes but not a marriage proposal? Disney, you’re so weird!
Uhhhh….FOLKS! Look at the photo CLOSELY. This guy …the “CM”… is wearing no CM costume I recognize…and EARS! CM are not permitted to wear ears with their costumes. I think we have all been suckered! Disney has its flaws…fer shur!…but I don’t think they had any part of this.
Oh really Disney!!? That place is nothing more than a overpriced babysitter trying to control people. Who gives a sh!? If someone proposes while at the park. You should be flattered not strong-arm guests. This is among other reasons, is why I won’t visit their park(s).
No one wants to see a ton of attention whores getting down on one knee if front of the castle. Go pick someplace off to the side that’s nice and quiet instead.
There are so many proposals that it’s just another day. And they were in a Cast ONLY area and should not have been on a stage loaded with pyrotechnics. They are more than welcome to propose in any of the other places in the park, which are open to guests.
People are really siding with Disney on this? You guys are the literal worst. Nothing excuses someone ruining a proposal and saying something like, “it’s against the rules,” is just a pathetic grasp at virtue signaling.
Many of my neighbor’s, including my family, will ever step foot in one of their parks, or on any of their cruises, after it was reported they have covered up quite a few incidents of people vanishing off their cruise ships or from their parks. They care only for the money they can make, and safety isn’t the top of their list either. I won’t go anywhere where I don’t feel safe. Especially after having a close call, not related to Disney, where one of my kids was almost pulled into a car six feet from me. The ring bit, I don’t know their reasons for other than it goes against policy, or the couple didn’t pay for it in some high price package.
It’s amazing that all they can do is call for censorship – it’s like they know they are wrong, and they’re sick of hearing it, so they’d rather you just shut up.
100% gauranteed that NOT ONE Floridian is afraid of any Californian, or what they believe. More disgust if anything. Btw, those kids books your referencing should be banned in elementary schools (which is what the bill did), they are essentially graphic pornography for minors.
Every single position and belief you have is likely untenable. A stretch, but an accurate assumption nonetheless.
Little guy snatching the ring should have been beaten by the big guy praposing like It was his job, not stopping until pulled off by the cops. Theft should be dealt with swiftly and severly !
It’s amazing that so many of you are obsessively buying into this whole “trans” delusion. Truly terrifying that a quarter of an entire generation thinks they are of an alternate sexuality. The sick adults who love to push this twisted garbage have half of my peers buying into this insanity and collecting genders and mental illnesses like they’re baseball cards. What an abhorrent and disastrous philosophy… and vile Disney sucks it all up and pushes it in your face. How utterly abominable.
Sounds about right for Disney. They have forgotten about their roots and where they came from. Instead they are politically woke. I personally would never go there.
I proposed to my wife at Disney world twice. Once before my marriage and once after being married 6 years so we could relive the moment. Both times on the same spot in front of Cinderella’s castle.
Me personally, I would be absolutely livid. I wouldn’t have chosen a restricted area to do it but this guy must have a mother that hates him or something. Who in their right mind does that in the “happiest place on earth?” Oh I know, any of the DisneyLAND employees – must be how they raise them in Cali.
I believe this video has been taken out of content in order to make a story the people were on a platform where they should not have been and the employee was merely getting them off and off photos and videos that are not professionally done and are only for personal upersonal use according to the website of rules are allowed
From everything I have seen, they were on am entertainment platform rigged with pyrotechnics. An incredibly dangerous place for them to be. They hopped a gate- if they had permission, a CM would have opened the gate and took video. Imagine if they got the proposal finished and it went viral. Everyone would be trying to hop the gate to get that spot that is rigged with pyrotechnics. If someone gets hurt, they are going to insist Disney pay the medical expense even though they aren’t supposed to be there. CM is totally in the right. Guest safety is paramount and while that moment, the guests were fine, it sends a false signal that what they did was allowed and safe. When based upon the CM reaction, it is a restricted and unsafe area for guests.
These are the same type of people who cross over barriers on mountain ledges for the perfect photo and fall to their deaths. Seeing and first hand experience isn’t enough for people anymore. It is all about the clout from posting it. Truly sad way to operate through life. He could have proposed anywhere safe around the castle, but wouldn’t have got the “shot”.
Funny part is that aftwards you find out they did have permission from another cast member ahead of time and this guy was an ass and didn’t check. Disney has apologized but wondered if they are coughing up a free wedding gift of some kind
Comments for Disney Cast Member Shuts Down Proposal, Snatches Ring From Guests
Saralee
Maybe he was getting them in a better “shot”. Now you can see the entire castle.
SueL
Yes, your are right, Sara as the cast member said this would be better at the very tail end of the video.
Chris
That’s ridiculous, unless you’re a moron, clearly he was trying to stop it because he didn’t want them on the stage.
Bob
Grab my expensive ring without asking….you get a ride to Firstaudland.
Ivor
That’s so funny!

Maybe you should turn the volume up the cast member clearly said it will be even better here. Obviously because you can get the whole castle then

Secondly this specific member is extremely well recognised for outstanding service

Not that day what a jerk to ruin a lifetime memory. Another article said they had permission.
Heidi Johannes
Obviously not. This was horrible service! What the heck is wrong with people.

Go ahead and keep saying he’s your friend and that he is an outstanding cast member. Proof? His name so we can look him up?

At the end of those scriptures the Lord shares how HE HARDEN PHARAOHS HEART ONCE & FOR ALL. The Exact same thing will happen to ALL of these people who don’t want to have Anything to do with 💝JESUS💝
Leslie
I’m sorry that happened. Kids are exposed to so much so much younger now. At least you were the one there at the time and you could explain things well.
TrumpsTinyPeen
Good. Maybe they should be taught tolerance somewhere if you’re such a bigoted pos. Sad that even Disney has more morals than you do and we see how bankrupt they are in that department. foh fascist.
Oracle
“special rights”
I’m glad most people here aren’t as uneducated as you are.
aka:KJB
Hey, Mickey,
How about “RIGHTS ARE RIGHTS”? . Everybody should have the SAME rights. People who are LGBTQ, straight, CIS, male, female, Black, Asian, etc. should all have the SAME rights that a protected equally. It’s not that certain groups want “special” rights, they just want the same protection from being murdered in the street that other people receive.
Dr. Gonzo
And they have those fn rights you absolute fn idîot.
Leslie Brown
What does that have to do with the story??
david
They/them aren’t appropriate pronouns. You can choose from she/her or he/him. That’s it. People are one or the other and not both but thanks for playing and trying to push your agenda on the rest of us yet again.
Trans Rights
Who the hell asked you, David?
Jay
Who asked in the first place? Why is one opinion on the matter welcome and the other not? Aside from hypocrisy of course. Support free speech or don’t, at least be honest to yourself.
aka:KJB
The Constitution only talks about free speech as it pertains to Federal besiness.
david
Apparently not you if you can’t even come up with a unique name. Go back to hiding in your parent’s basement and play some fortnite.
david
No one. The same people that also that asked for your pointless reply. So feel free to go bug someone who cares instead.
Melissa
Isn’t it nauseating? I’m tired of the constant indoctrination attempt. Believe what people want to believe but don’t try and gag me with this Trans bull crap. Brainwashing at its finest. It’s gross. Thank you for standing up. Look at how attacked we are because we still believe in male/female. Geezus
aka:KJB
So who authorized YOU to speak for “the rest of us”? I don’t remember signing off on you being appointed “grammar cop”. Those inappropriate pronouns that are causing your moral outrage chubby to siphon off too much blood from your brain are used by everyone, including YOU, that speak or write the English language multiple times every day. They, them, etc. can be used and, indeed, ARE used to refer to individuals and/or groups of individuals equally.
The “agenda”/propoganda that you’re trying to push onto “the rest of us” appears to include disenfranchising a significant number of voting-age U.S. citizens, hoping that they’ll just not vote, failing to notice that they outnumber Republicans by at least 3 to 1 until it’s too late.
elise
aka: nut job, quoting you:
The “agenda”/propoganda that you’re trying to push onto “the rest of us”
So you don’t like it when people force an agenda in your face? Either do I.
david
Boy, you sure seem irritated about something that isn’t that big of a deal. You always get so worked up like this? It can’t be good for your health or blood pressure. Have a beer and/or smoke a little grass if you can’t touch some instead. You might feel better afterwards.
drew
And why exactly do you think that /anyone/ cares what you have to say either? Sometimes it is best to say nothing rather than coming off as a bit unhinged like you did in response to the other comment.
PS you look like you have a writing disability putting so many words in upper case. It loses any authority you are trying to give the word when you abuse that so often.
You're Fired
You’re not fooling anyone with your gender parlor tricks with the exception of children and the weak-minded.
Katy
Yes Mar!!! Repeat it again!!!
drew
Mar is a little slow and so are you for making them think that putting pronouns in the comment section of a disney news site will make a difference to anyone. But please do continue on while the rest of us ignore you.

And now, everyone, all together:
“THAT DOESN’T HAVE A @#$%IN’ THING TO DO with trespassing on clearly posted Cast Member Only areas!”
Christopher
Human rights are human rights and there are only 2 genders & 2 sexes. How do I know? Because both sex change surgery and gender reassignment surgery offer only 2 options. Male and Female. Man and Woman.
Noah
Bill
I read those park rules at the link, and saw nothing about restricted areas, permissions, or what can and can’t be done (aside from disruptive/violent behavior, etc).
Holly
If its clearly sectioned off…..which would of been while waiting for a parade for that specific area the Cst members have a duty of care….any restrictions are made very visible.
He would never of done that unless was absolutely necessary
Chris
Goofy Disney employee should be arrested. We’d have fought if he tried to take the ring from me.
stan
Nothing says happy memories like get arrested for assault and battery right after proposing. All you armchair warriors need to take a breath because we all know you wouldn’t fight a CM.
Folks
Why do people say, “and now for the people in the back!” or “say it louder for the people in the back.”. It’s really cringe.
Dawn
True, but what does that have to do with this couple being told to get off a stage that they shouldn’t have been on?
Hannah
The OP said that their friend (the guy) had permission beforehand. That’s why the guy is gesturing off camera to say that another staff member said they could do it.
Akuin
From what I am seeing it sounds lile the employee he asked didn’t have authorization to let them up there. That isn’t the couple’s fault yet they had their whole day ruined by getting the ring snatched and escorted away like that. Rude. I get it. But rude none the less. Not like we as customers know the company heirarchy.
Rose Rose
This is one of the many reasons I will never in a million years ever visit any Disney park for any reason whatsoever! I would’ve snatched his stupid head off his shoulders for him!
I love disney
All the entitled comment. SMH. Disney is a private property. You can go only to certain public areas. If it says do not enter or cast member only then you shouldn’t entered it. It’s like inviting a guest to your house and then they start fooling round in your bedroom. Would you be ok with that!?
John
they got permission to do it. that guy apparently wasnt informed about it
Holly
That guy….is a senior level cast member so he is the one that leads the team.
Fishies
Play stupid games… He bullied a trainee to letting them on stage and then the more senior staff member stepped in because this stage is rigged with pyrotechnics.

That is actually horrible shame on you

I proposed to my wife 14 years ago at Disneyland California, at Snow White’s Wishing Well.
Fortunately, nobody was around when I did it (I was too nervous to do it with a crowd watching), but it worked out well, and no cast members said anything to us about it other than “Congratulations!” after my wife was telling anyone and everyone the story that day.
Mike
Bet you if it were a gay couple they would have left them alone.
IDontDoDisney
Without a doubt
kat
go outside and touch some grass instead of targeting gay people for no reason mike
stephen
This was from Disneyland Paris and not the one in California. Perhaps the writer can change the tag on the story to file it correctly.
JR
He admitted he didn’t have permission on reddit in the comments, then deleted the post and re-posted saying that he did have permission. The Paris park isn’t run the same way as America, if you’re breaking a rule they won’t wait to “keep the magic alive.” If you want to be on a stage behind a gated area (they hopped a gate to get to the stage) then you’re going to have issues. These things need to be planned out, you don’t just go where you want just because you’re proposing. Sorry. It’s amazing how many people lie just to go viral.
Holly
Yessss finally someone talking sense x
Melissa
see…this makes sense to me.
DLP AW
Holly
Yepppp we became friends after the magical memory he made for my son
Tom
Holly give it up already.
IDontDoDisney
Haha seriously
Joe
Well that solves who was right and who was wrong….Disney Paris made a Public apology to couple!!!!
Michelle
There is just a way you go about certain things and that wasn’t it he could’ve politely asked them to step down and at least still preserve their moment he literally snatched it away from them.. I get he has a job to do but that was very inappropriate I know I’m only a drop of water in the millions that Disney gets every year but I won’t be adding to that again me and my husband buy tickets for our children every year but this put a bad taste in my mouth shame on that man and shame on Disney that was cruel
Dawn
If he gave them a choice or “asked them” to move politely they may have tried stalling and convincing him to allow them to finish. If it is loaded with pyrotechnics, they had no choice but to make them move off of the stage. Also, the longer they stayed up there the more danger they were actually in. Safety first.
Hugh
Um stopping them is one thing. In the state of Florida that is technically robbery by sudden snatching and he would be charged with a felony.
MARIO BROWN
OHHH DAMN DISNEY BRO WHY YOU BE DOING THEM LIKE THAT?
Dan
Why do you write a story about a video and not put the video in the story?!
Rickey Mouse
LigmaB
They did ask for permission. Get your story writing right
Fishies
Play stupid games… He bullied a trainee to letting them on stage and then the more senior staff member stepped in because this stage is rigged with pyrotechnics.
Mau
They allow parents having their naked children at the water fountains while changing their clothes but not a marriage proposal? Disney, you’re so weird!
IDontDoDisney
Disney loves little kids. They are against marriage between a man and woman. That’s why!
kat
source about disney being against man/woman marriage?
Steph
Come on people!! FALLOW THE RULES AND READ RHE SIGNS!!!!
Lorenzo Jones
Ah shut up
Laura
Uhhhh….FOLKS! Look at the photo CLOSELY. This guy …the “CM”… is wearing no CM costume I recognize…and EARS! CM are not permitted to wear ears with their costumes. I think we have all been suckered! Disney has its flaws…fer shur!…but I don’t think they had any part of this.
Dawn
You know the CM dress code for Disneyland Paris?
SR
Oh really Disney!!? That place is nothing more than a overpriced babysitter trying to control people. Who gives a sh!? If someone proposes while at the park. You should be flattered not strong-arm guests. This is among other reasons, is why I won’t visit their park(s).
drew
No one wants to see a ton of attention whores getting down on one knee if front of the castle. Go pick someplace off to the side that’s nice and quiet instead.
Dawn
There are so many proposals that it’s just another day. And they were in a Cast ONLY area and should not have been on a stage loaded with pyrotechnics. They are more than welcome to propose in any of the other places in the park, which are open to guests.
Michael DeWerff
People are really siding with Disney on this? You guys are the literal worst. Nothing excuses someone ruining a proposal and saying something like, “it’s against the rules,” is just a pathetic grasp at virtue signaling.
Ryan
The original post explains that the OP did in fact ask for permission before proposing
drew
Sure and just go ahead and believe everything that is written because no one ever lies on the internet, right?
Sugma nuts
I think they had permission before
William Paul Johnson, Jr.
Ho Hum…snore.
Diane
there was no reason to snatch the ring Disney employees have gone to far
Lord-Xanthor
Many of my neighbor’s, including my family, will ever step foot in one of their parks, or on any of their cruises, after it was reported they have covered up quite a few incidents of people vanishing off their cruise ships or from their parks. They care only for the money they can make, and safety isn’t the top of their list either. I won’t go anywhere where I don’t feel safe. Especially after having a close call, not related to Disney, where one of my kids was almost pulled into a car six feet from me. The ring bit, I don’t know their reasons for other than it goes against policy, or the couple didn’t pay for it in some high price package.
JT
They were on a performance stage that is clearly marked as to not be up there. The guests were 100% in the wrong.
Lorenzo Jones
So what if they were. Disney acted like stormtroopers. That was 100% wrong. You ha e zero customer service knowledge.
Liberty Lane
Wow, the comments on this page are absolutely gross.
First, this happened in Europe, so all you Floridian bigots should pick something else to be afraid of for the day.
Second, I’m a bit astonished this site has absolutely no moderation for hate speech.
Third, y’all should be ashamed of yourselves. Don’t you have children’s books to burn or white privilege deny.
Isn’t there someone taking a confederate flag down somewhere that you can get irrationally upset about?
MARK
THERE IS NOTHING ABOUT BEONG PROJD OF YOUR SKIN.
TR
It’s amazing that all they can do is call for censorship – it’s like they know they are wrong, and they’re sick of hearing it, so they’d rather you just shut up.
100% gauranteed that NOT ONE Floridian is afraid of any Californian, or what they believe. More disgust if anything. Btw, those kids books your referencing should be banned in elementary schools (which is what the bill did), they are essentially graphic pornography for minors.
Every single position and belief you have is likely untenable. A stretch, but an accurate assumption nonetheless.
Grumpy911
Little guy snatching the ring should have been beaten by the big guy praposing like It was his job, not stopping until pulled off by the cops. Theft should be dealt with swiftly and severly !
Laura
Wow all of you in this comment section are no better. How sad
Not a J
It’s amazing that so many of you are obsessively buying into this whole “trans” delusion. Truly terrifying that a quarter of an entire generation thinks they are of an alternate sexuality. The sick adults who love to push this twisted garbage have half of my peers buying into this insanity and collecting genders and mental illnesses like they’re baseball cards. What an abhorrent and disastrous philosophy… and vile Disney sucks it all up and pushes it in your face. How utterly abominable.
Robert
Sounds about right for Disney. They have forgotten about their roots and where they came from. Instead they are politically woke. I personally would never go there.
M
If he really wanted to stop them he should have stood in front of the camera, blocking their camera man’s view and leaving them with nothing to post.
William
I proposed to my wife at Disney world twice. Once before my marriage and once after being married 6 years so we could relive the moment. Both times on the same spot in front of Cinderella’s castle.
S1
Once I become the prime minister of the United States, i will take over Disney and make it great again.
TR
Me personally, I would be absolutely livid. I wouldn’t have chosen a restricted area to do it but this guy must have a mother that hates him or something. Who in their right mind does that in the “happiest place on earth?” Oh I know, any of the DisneyLAND employees – must be how they raise them in Cali.
Rahiem Hardy
That’s rude!!! But at least they can do their marriage proposal at the restaurant in Disneyland Park Paris!!!
Ray S.
I believe this video has been taken out of content in order to make a story the people were on a platform where they should not have been and the employee was merely getting them off and off photos and videos that are not professionally done and are only for personal upersonal use according to the website of rules are allowed
glitterysmiles
Pickle
Disney hates hedero marriage
Gary Astorino
Funny part is that aftwards you find out they did have permission from another cast member ahead of time and this guy was an ass and didn’t check. Disney has apologized but wondered if they are coughing up a free wedding gift of some kind
Knitzudge
They would prefer you pay extra. They could put in lasers to blind cameras from taking unauthorized photos.
