Love, love, love this theme.
I’m a Villainaholic, so this IS my thing.
Alas, as We are passholders and D23 members, we are not DVC members, so as I understand it, we do not qualify for this Disney Celebration of our devilishly decadent VILLAINS. Please let us know all of the info, and keep us updated should we qualify to attend. So excited. It’s a dream come true. Thanks
Deb and Robert Micocci
This—-so it’s “exclusive” to DVC owners, not passholders, not daily ticketholders.
You leave out over half of your visiters, especially loyal passholders.
Disappointed.
They have to do SOMETHING to make those people overspending on points not feel like complete suckers – especially since those vacation club owners can’t even buy annual passes at this point.
Speak for yourself, even factoring in dues, our DVC has paid for itself and we no longer have to pay for a room. Seriously, every person has to do the math for themselves to see where they come out based on their preferences for where they stay, how often they go, price per point, etc.
James, you got that right. DVC members don’t get more perks, if any, than annual pass holders do. One year I got the annual pass and I didn’t get any more perks as DVC. All I want as a DVC member at this point, is a refillable mug 😀 during my visits. Not asking for much
Every time fans say “We want a Villains park!”, ALL I can hear is Paul Pressler from the early 00’s, who thought he could turn the Studios into a “Villains’ park” for the adults.
Why? Because his delusional marketing strategies were psychologically convinced that adults “hated” the parks, were “bored and embarrassed” to be seen there with their kids, preferred to drop them off while they went off to shop and play golf, and that they “sympathized” with Maleficent and Captain Hook wanting to smash all that icky goodness and pixie dust.
He tried a Villains shop. It struggled.
He tried making Fantasmic an all-Villains theme with Mickey’s nightmare. Well, at least we still have that.
And if YouTube vlogs had been more common in the early 00’s, we might have seen footage of that “Villain character dinner”, pitched to adults at the Grand Floridian. From what I hear, though, it was a short-lived dumpster fire.
You want the fantasy? I remember the reality. It wasn’t pretty.
Need a way to check, like a walk-up counter, to see if there are available spots as a stand-by. Empty seats mean a loss of money. Are you listening Bob “Paycheck”?

Thank you James
Said perfectly from a DVC owner who sold it….

They need to have and sell villain themed drink mugs. Similar to Trader Sam’s tiki mugs and Oga’s Cantina Star Wars mugs.
Rotate the mug offer like Trader Sam’s. Trader Sam’s Halloween themed mugs had people lining up hours before opening.

I love this. I hope we can visit while we are there in July.

although I love the idea, it will be really hard to get into the limited space and if it is truly full might be hard to get a drink or a seat.

If u rent dvc points, will you be allowed in?
Chris
You will need to present your membership card if it is like it was, so no.
Jeannette Pecchia
Which is as it should be. I pay so I should get the perk. Thank you!

So again, Disney is catering to the more “financially successful” and excluding over half their customers. Sorry if I’m not excited.
