Bob Cheapskates has found a way to ruin everything at Disney World and now he is ruining the Grand Floridian. He should take his $20 million salary and by some taste.
Grand Floridian didn’t open until 1988 and now it’s opulence will be ruined by the jerk of a CEO who has messed up so much of Disney World! He needs to be out of a job.
Agreed. Be a dvc member since 93. All the latest renovations to the resorts are dull and boring. They look unlike the original themes. The color palettes are neutral and plain. Not a improvement.
I am currently down at WDW and was just at the Grand Floridian. I would be furious to spend that kind of money on that resort. Has anyone thought about fixing the hundreds of light bulbs that are burned out all across the rooftop? Or even thought about how most of the red roof is black from being so old and there are lots of missing or damaged shingles. Disney never used to let things like this go unfixed. We are being charged thousands more for a trip and it seems like none of that money is going to help upkeep the flagship resorts or any of them for that matter.
