I would be very happy if the California parks can lower the threshold from 1pm for park hopping to something like 11am to spread people around more. Personally, I like using DCA as my first park because basically for the first 3 hours, you can do any ride with almost zero lines. It’s a surprising “secret” that not many people do because everyone wants to do Disneyland first.

I am extremely disappointed that there are any restrictions regarding the park hopper – this is a service we are paying for so there should be no restrictions at all and the price should be even all year long and not based on the time of the year -it’s unfortunate but for the first time Disney appears to be losing its magic with so many increases in prices. From the cost of particular rides – the loss of the fast pass and charging for Disney Genie is disheartening. The high costs of the tickets has always included every ride in the park. Even the quick access for single riders has been removed. I hope Disney takes its Fanbase into consideration and listens to the fans more seriously. Walt Disney would turn in his grave if he knew that families were being overcharged on every turn– there should be no restrictions on the park hopper or further need for park reservations when Covid restrictions have been lifted. Disney It’s a multi billion dollar industry – considering what families have gone through financially with Covid – Disney should show more empathy and compassion And once again put its fan base first.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they find a way to eek out a few more dollars to park hop by ” changing” the ticket options. We just got back and after spending 4.95 for iced tea and averaging 200.00 plus tip for 4 at sit down restaurants, nothing would surprise me. 30 million plus dollars a year for a certain CEO isn’t enough I guess.

Eventually they will charge extra to reenter the park. I am not joking, I expect this.

The fact Chapek is still around speaks volumes of the Board of Directors ineptitude.

I would wish the worst upon him, but that does not begin to touch the tip of the iceberg of how I really feel.

Having to make a SECOND reservation to go to another park on a ticket we already pay extra for and paying more to have a second reservation would be cause for much frustration. If that is the plan, leave it alone. I would prefer they go back to the simpler time of Park Hopping.

The currently leadership will do anything if it creates an opportunity to sell you something that was previously free.

“…or sold as an additional upgrade.” Wow, wonder what they will decide to do there. Probably yet more nickel and diming for things that used to be free.

Requiring more reservations is not a positive. It will completely gimp the 3 reservation rwsident annual pass. I would definitely not renew if they pull this crap, especially after I was sold on only needing one reservation all day. Bait and switch false advertising. AKA fraud.

Requiring more park reservations is ridiculous, and what about the people who do the 4 park challenge? With the new rides and virtual queues in place, it makes sense to restrict park hopping to 2:00. I just want Disney to get rid of the requirement that you have to visit the park where you have your park reservation to be able to park hop. This is an extreme hardship for those who are disabled or physically impaired.

No, it doesn’t make sense to restrict it. It was never before restricted and this kind of begging is exactly what they want. Don’t let them move the goalposts.
