So far our family isn’t enjoying the Genie+ system very much. It’s especially irritating not to be able to schedule more than one ride at a time like you could with the old FP system.
This means that you have to choose which ONE of the more popular rides you most want to ride and get that one right away with the understanding that you’re sacrificing a fast pass to most other popular attractions as they go just as fast.
It also means you can’t plan your day like you used to.
I haven’t seen this recently but a few months ago you couldn’t even spend extra for the lightening lanes on rides like Ratatouille unless you were staying at the resorts. Big bummer for locals or vacationers who stay with family or on non-Disney properties.
Overall we’re unsatisfied and hope changes are made but it’s better than nothing and we still always have a good time when we go.
I think it’s horrible. We had the fast pass system for years and it was a great system. The genie is not only confusing, but it’s expensive. Bring back fast passes. Tie them to the my experience app and let us enjoy the parks again. Shame on you Disney.

Very expensive, I like the old system (fast pass) as it worked great for the 20 years we’ve been going there. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

Why does everything have to be on Genie + ????? Can’t even meet Mickey without paying extra or standing in an endless line. Genie Sucks!!
