Kudos for the Cast Member and Disney! Safety is a number one priority!

    1. faackanders2

Way to prevent a kid from getting hurt!

    2. Brenda

Thank you so much for not just doing your job but for making sure that every guest is safe. That’s what I love about Disney the safety of myself and my grandchildren are always first and foremost with Disney. Thank you again so much

  2. J

    People have no manners

    1. Darla

Good job. People don’t realize how accidents can happen. For their safety and the safety of all those on the tram it was a good valley. People do not seem to know how to respect and act out in public places anymore. They have had alot of recent problems there and other tourist places with people doing what they want. Causing disruptions to other quest and or damages to.property..I think we all need to remember how to respect people and places. Have a nice evening

      1. Brian S Wood

Probably a minority. Many of them expect.to do anytthing they want. And they always get away with it.

        1. Ken

Your comment is inappropriate. You are one of the ones Disney needs to ban for life. Also you need to learn PROPER ENGLISH before judging others.

          1. Thank you Very well said

        2. Bob

Correct. Rude people who ignore the rules are a minority throughout the world, believe it or not.
Now why some people would immediately think something else is on them.

        3. nosleN

Nah. Probably some white bigot with a sense of superiority. You know the type, blocking ppl from entering their homes, entering homes unannounced, shooting black people in churches. I’m sure you’re very familiar with the type.

  3. Jag

I’ve been aboard a Disneyland tram (pre-COVID) and someone stood up. The cast member at the rear of the tram simply said “Driver hold!”. The tram came to a safe stop and the guests were informed they were to remain seated before they would continue. Sure, guests can be ignorant and selfish. But the stop wasn’t a big deal and the tram continued after a brief stop.

I can hardly wait until the next article describes naughty guests who disembark on the driver’s wrong side and the cast members repeatedly instruct the guests to reboard the tram and exit the other side and to not attempt to walk between the tram cars. Ooooh, the drama.

    1. Zara

Are you sure this wasn’t your family that’s in question lol??

      1. D

Good one! Jag sounds a bit entitled.

  4. Jack

I find this difficult to care even slightly about.

    1. frank

Agreed. Do you know how many kids “lost an arm” while sticking it out of a moving bus? 4. More kids will die today via drowning ,second-hand smoke and abortion.

      1. Yeah but they don’t sue Disney when it happens.

      2. James

How many kids died of an alligator attack on Disney property? One, and Disney got sued. Safety is a big deal, because one is all it takes.

      3. faackanders2

One boy lost a leg on big thunder mountain and cast members were shouting for him to put his leg in as it was returning to the station.

    2. Ken

Then why did you click on the article in the first place? Just to prove that you should be home watching Teletubbies since that’s more your speed….

    3. C Conroy

At the very least, someone doing their job description shouldn’t be considered news.

  5. Your mom

Shocking… some piece of trash tourist didn’t follow the rules

    1. Ben

What is even more shocking is your lack of etiquette in describing your shock – Rude so very rude.

  6. Kenneth Snyder

This cast member did everything absolutely right I was a bus driver for Disney for almost 15 years and I’ve actually throwing people off the bus mid route because they would not sit down. What these people fail to realize if there is an emergency like a quick stop these kids are not sitting down guess what they become missiles, and they will fly very easily

    1. frank

bunch of pansies – take some fuxking chance … fear of danger on a team moving 4mph. Then you intentionally go on trains that go upside-down – and get you nowhere. No wonder this generation is so soft.

When we were kids, we stuck our hands out the window of our school bus. If a kid lost an arm, we went right back to making out with the girl in our seat.

      1. Dave

Yeah back when I was growing up, we all did stupid things, we got injured, brushed ourselves off and moved on but even then people breaking the rules was an annoyance because that just shows you think you’re above everyone else. But wiith that kind of attitude, I see that you must have done something stupid when you were younger. 4 mph can still cause serious injury and I bet if that were your child (god forbid you reproduce) and they got injured cause they were standing up or waving their hands around outside of the tram, you’d be real quick to suing Disney and anyone else you could for a quick payday. You’re exactly the reason why rules exist

      2. Ruben Reynoso

Wow, what a tough guy you are. So tough you can’t spell correctly when you curse. You must be an ex-Navy SEAL or an MMA fighter or something. SMH

      3. Bill

You should stay out of wdw

      4. faackanders2

trams go alot faster than 4mph. Don’t ride if your not going to follow the rules.

      5. Stuart Piedmann

        You tell ‘em, Biff.

    3. Brian S Wood

Would LOVE to see some of those flying missiles! What a great video it would make and posted to YouTube!

  7. Suzanne

This was my child. It identifies with a seated child, even when standing. We are preparing our lawsuit for discrimination that will be filed on Friday.

    1. D

Because you’re right? Get out of here. You’re the problem in your family.

      1. Rick H

You guys are hilarious! It was a joke WOKE ASS DOUCHEBAG! So sensitive 🥲

        1. Ploy

The person who’s most offended is you.

    2. Ms. Pocono

The best comment on this thread! Ha ha

      1. Ben

        Agreed

    3. You guys are hilarious 😂

    4. Brian S Wood

Hope you are arrested for child endangerment!

  8. Boo

Praise for the cast member. More “guests” need to get permanent bans from Disney…..a lot of stupidity and over self entitled actions out there.

    1. Brian S Wood

My mom handled discipline at home. You KNEW the rules, so there was no begging for mercy!

  9. Mickeymouse3

Can we get these tram cast members assigned to park attractions to keep line cutters from cutting? At least they’re willing to do their job correctly.

  10. Mike

After the 2nd warning, this is pure IGNORANCE!!!
Boot them from all parks the following day, then THEY WILL LISTEN!!!

    1. CJA

Not sure ignorance, pure defiance! “You can’t tell me what to do” mentality.

    2. Ruben Reynoso

That family is definitely members of the “I-PAID-MY-$200-I-GET-TO-DO-WHATEVER-I-WANT” club.

      1. Brian S Wood

Bet they even tried to pay with food stamps!

        1. Ploy

Haha yeah it’s only poor people who are entitled.

  11. Cyndi

It’s another example of ” you said everyone, but you didn’t mean me” syndrome. Many people don’t feel they have to listen. I say ban them from the parks for the rest of their day. Keep doing that and maybe the rudeness will ease a bit. Enforce especially inside the parks.

    1. Brian S Wood

      Ban them for life!

    2. faackanders2

If it wasn’t their first park, they didn’t pay park ticket for that day’ but it would still be a hastle to get a different park day reservation. However they did sit down when cast member came over (perhaps they spoke a different language and didn’t understand english?).

  12. Deb

All I know is rules are rules abide or leave simple as that

  13. Matt

Totally agree. It’s funny though that guests 14 and under need to be supervised but adult ticket prices start at something like 9 years old?

    1. 9

That’s actually a good point, but it might be more that kids around 9 are typically tall enough for all the rides? It’s like the tickets are really “few rides, some rides, all rides” rather than baby, chils, adult.

  14. Yeah!! Give the cast member a raise!!! People need to control their children!!

  15. CJA

Here’s some cheese to go with that whine. 🧀

  16. Brian S Wood

    So true!

  17. Jill

    Bravo cast member!👍

  18. Mike G

The CM should of kicked the family off the tram and told them to start walking.

    1. faackanders2

Everyone on the tram would have cheered! Next time they would listen.

  19. Ripe

Yep never heard of any white person ever acting up or breaking rules. Only minorities.

Of course Disney World is a global attraction and white people are actually a global minority…

    1. faackanders2

Yes white men never do mass shootings. Never ever. Especially not in the USA.

      1. Fl_rez11

In my opinion they should have removed the family and set the example! This is exactly what Cast Members need to be doing. Without question, enforcing the parks rules. The real Pansies are those idiots breaking the rules and damaging the park. I applaud that cast member. Give her a pair of golden mouseears.

  20. Ploy

How much of this website’s readership is weirdly racist people who seem to hate Disney? Seems like a lot. What’s up with that? Get a more interesting hobby, like throwing rocks at trains.

    1. Joem

They are too afraid to post their racist views on sites where they have to show their identity

    2. Bob

It’ll be more fun now that I found out that everyone must remain seated!

  21. SP

Bravo to that CM for doing what is right!

  22. Mr. R

Good, entitled narcissists need to be made to behave since they think rules are for other people

  23. Betty-B

I would of kicked off & made walk.

  24. John

The only thing wrong about this entire comment chain is the way ADULTS are acting and what is being said on here. These are the people guiding young people today. The future of our country. Very sad!

  25. It's Just Me

These are the same people who would want to sue Disney if somebody got hurt despite them not following instructions.

  26. Meghan

What a shame that people can’t control their children. Let’s inconvenience every one on the tram for you.

  27. Missy

I have had this happen while I am on the tram… they take safety very serious at Disney.
There is a possibility, as there are numerous international guests, that the family did not understand English.
Either way, good job by the cast members in keeping everyone safe.

  28. Bob

    Is this really newsworthy?

  29. Pjt

A child feel out of a team in the California park and passed. This rule is a strict rule following the lawsuit.

  30. Jeremy

    Confused why this was posted?
Something like this happens multiple times a day in every theme park that offers Tram service. Its the same as if they posted that a a clean up worker asked if a patron who just littered, pick up their trash and throw in proper waste receptacle. It’s not a story. Its everyday work related happening’s.

    1. CJ

For the rest of us who are parents, nothing is more irritating when they allow their kids to disobey rules. And for the other passengers, it’s irritating to have to stop because someone isn’t parenting their kids.

  31. CJ

Was just on a plane where a 2 yo wasn’t sitting when we were about to land. (He wasn’t buckled the entire trip.) His parents were told 3 TIMES to sit him down before the dad put him in his lap. Irritating. Kudos to Disney for enforcing the rules!!!!

  32. Chris

Wow, Disney spends so much time promoting the gay agenda I’m surprised they have any time to enforce safety rules- 🚫🏳️‍🌈

    1. J

News flash: gays have been around before Disney. Find something else to express your repressed anger about.

  33. Dave

    I like pizza

  34. Michael Shimer

The big story here: trams are only running at MK and AK – “when available” – and not at HS and Epcot. Total BS. It’s hotter than the surface of the sun in Florida during summer, which starts tomorrow. What kind of penny-pinching crap is that!? Have your seen how far the walk is from the back of Epcot’s parking lot!? Thanks Bob 🙁

    1. J

And you know this before choosing them, so the blame isn’t warranted. But you know this already.

  35. Christopher

Always that one person got Ruin it for people

  36. Jenn

Good. Every moment entitled people are reminded of the rules, the better. Get in line or GTFO.

  37. Steve

Welcome to the snowflake generation. God forbid you tell a child no or discipline them in any way. That might be considered hurtful and make them actually have to listen to someone in authority. We can’t have that. I’m just glad that the family not letting their kids develop some discipline weren’t minorities because I’m sure some rag would be saying it was about race.
