Gina Carano Is a popular, powerfully liberated woman and the Cara Dune character is a strong, exemplary Star Wars role model. Disney management should stop trying to manipulate society by black balling this actress and others based on politics.
We should all want mega corporations to stay out of our democracy and social politics and focus on profitable, high quality products and services.
It makes very good sense people REALLY wanted to see more of the Cara Dune backstory. How did she become such a badass? Also this won’t “solve” the Gina Carano problem but it keeps the door open to solving it once and for all. Gina Carano never posted anything harmful, hurtful or bigoted …. let’s get that straight. Yet she was threatened, attacked and harassed for months by disgusting, vulgar twitter trolls (just google “Data Racer Gina Carano”. Disney NEVER lifted a finger to denounce these ugly attacks and threats. Then, when she defends herself by making a light hearted joke they side with the trolls and fire her? Disney can only solve their Gina Carano problem by getting her back onto that show and apologizing to her.
I would love to see a young Cara Dune but I think that might have leaked out already if it were true. Disney should just get Gina back, the real fans love her, it’s just a few twits that don’t and their 100 bots. She had the longest lines at every event at the Orlando Megacon. They need to clean up their toxic workplace at Lucasfilm and start catering to the fans, not the SJWs who DO NOT consume their products.

I don’t want a Cara Dune child story. I want Cara Dune working with Mando again.
Disney owes Gina Carano (and Johnny Depp) an apology.
Carol
Agreed!!
Marie
Exactly!

There is NOTHING “controversial” about Gina. She’s a great actress and person and there are more controversial crap being spewed from Disney CEO’s.
Marie
Yes!

The idea that Disney should just bring back Gina is stupid.
She doesn’t want to come back.
Pete D.
Disney should at least apologize to her.
Marie
Yes, at the least!

Bring the real Cara Dune back and make things right in the Galaxy again.

What better way to prove that a celebrity’s opinion doesn’t actually matter than to bring her back to the Mandalorian?
I know that my position isn’t going to change by listening to a female actor on Twitter.
I literally don’t care what her political opinion is. If you brought her back it wouldn’t make a f****** difference to me.
