Have been going to Busch Gardens Williamsburg since 2004. They have raised general parking to $30 and added a 5% surcharge to food without making it clear. Unless you have outstanding eyes you won’t make out the sign notification and when I asked employees they couldn’t provide any reason. This smells of unfair business practices and as a resident of Virginian I am passing this on to my State representative. In a typical year I used to take my family 3-4 times but not anymore. A small box of popcorn cost $7.99 plus a 5% surcharge of .40 cents .92 cents for VA state tax the total price $9.31
This is outrageous and a bottle of pop or a large fountain drink is $4.99 before the 5% surcharge and VA tax.
It’s time to stop rewarding bad behavior and just walk away. Busch Gardens needs to clean up its act and be honest in what it charges the public.
