I’ve been in restaurants where they have had bottles of wine over $1000 and even more expensive spirits (usually a very old and rare brandy) and it never bothered me in the slightest, nor did I feel put out that someone else might have the money to purchase it. I do have to wonder what on earth is in it, since most very expensive spirits would be spoiled by putting them into a mixed drink.

Some of the comments are simply silly. Should expensive sport cars or RV’s or jewelry be outlawed because you can’t afford one? I’ve seen things in the Art of Disney store that I can’t afford, but that doesn’t make me demand that no one else should be allowed to purchase it. And if you still feel that way, consider that there are some people who would never be able to afford your Disney World or Disney Cruise vacation. Should those be outlawed as well?

I hear they serve the drink in Walt Disney’s frozen head. The company sure has lost their way.

If you have the money to waste on something that is gone forever with nothing to show for it, have at it. It is your money. I wouldn’t bother, but again, it is your money to do with as you please. It would be pretty silly to “outlaw” it.
