Everywhere and anywhere you ride any kind of theme park ride you are warned multiple times to keep your arms, hands, legs and other appendages inside the ride at all times.. SMH
I love Great Adventure, but it definitely was their fault. They used flammable material to build it and had zero fire alarms or sprinklers. They were found guilty in court.
Yet everyone gets in their car everyday and drive like demons. Car crashes and guns kill more people everyday than any theme park rides yet no one complains. Guess we should ban cars, motorcycles, ATV’s, pickups, and guns? How many people text and drive? How many people talk on their cell phones while driving? How many people drive under the influence of alcohol and drugs? Yet rhe comments are about theme park rides!? I mean REALLY!? Too many people with their priorities screwed up. So let’s ban then cars and guns…

That wasn’t the discussion. The discussion is, theme park rides are supposed to be completely safe, not dangerous. Vehicles, guns, are known to be dangerous if misused, but if people are careful, no trouble will occur. There’s nothing you can do on dangerous rides. There is however, something you can do with cars and guns: be careful.
Number one there are signs posted to to reach out of the ride. If the person decides to do so it is there fault. Please ppl get off the high horse of suing. I’ve been to plenty of amusement parks to know better!!!!!
Cars and guns are SUPPOSED TO BE SAFE also but yet people do dumb things with them. NOTHING is “completely” safe. Amusement park rides are supposed to be safe but again people do dumb things on and/or with them. My point is straight on. I’m not sure why that “misses” the point though. I respect your opinion though I don’t agree with it. We all need to follow the rules and regulations for the things we use. At Lagoon in Utah many years ago a young boy was killed by the Puff Dragon roller coaster. He had climbed out of the restraint and fell out and on to the track where he was subsequently ran over when the coaster came back around. Around that day a toddler was killed in a car accident because he wasn’t seat belted in. I was the nurse who was involved in both incidents. So yes I get the point quite clearly. Is it just me or is the roller-coaster wrong? A stupid design flaw is a stupid design flaw but the pic with the white sign looks like a normal coaster. The description and image of Medusa says it’s a top rail, floorless coaster.

How can there be a lawsuit when they specifically tell you to keep your arms and feet inside the ride at all times therefore if someone were to stick their arm outside of the ride to touch it and end up getting injured they cant sue as its in the rules and its not six flags fault if people dont listen to the rules 🤷🏻♂️
Bruh people are complaining about this when on Cyclone at Indiana Beach you are literally required to keep your hands down because for the entire second half of the ride you can touch the supports.
I worked at Magic Mountain from 1975 to 77. There were lots of rides that were really dangerous. The Revolution loop coaster had a bend in the track that caused broken Clavicle bones. The Log Ride would roll over at the bottom of the drop and people had to swim out from under it.
