I can’t agree , with your opening .
The franchise is certainly a modern day classic!
That’s like saying Home Alone isn’t a classic.
Scott Calvin is Santa Claus to millions.
We always watch The Santa Clause trilogy every year and we consider them classics.
What I was wondering is where is Charlie? Are they going to mention why Charlie isn’t going to be the next Santa which he said he wanted to do.
That was my first question, too! What about Charlie? Also….his DAUGHTER?? In the third movie, Carol gives birth to another boy….Buddy! Another son they don’t mention…..and who is Cal Calvin?? They mention his 2 kids, but those are not the 2 kids he had in the third movie! I’m so confused!
The writer here obviously has something against this show. (The movies? Tim Allen? Santa or Xmas in general? ) While the rest of the piece provides infovand updates, the jaded opening is very off-putting and unnecessary.
