No it wasn’t but Finn’s arc could have been much better and a nod to the old EU where a ex-stormtrooper did become a Jedi Knight. But Kathleen Kennedy really doesn’t understand Star Wars nor seems interested in trying to understand it while JJ and Rian had both radically different ideas of what the sequel trilogy (which neither one was correct but JJ was closer to what it should been then Rian) and their tug of war made the whole trilogy an absolute mess!
Boyega isn’t a great actor. His whole vibe is enough to not want him in future projects. I get that he feels like race affected his role and maybe something did happen. But I still haven’t seen evidence of him being mistreated anymore than any other actor. Honestly, for what actors get paid, ow ould gladly tolerate a fair amount of mistreatment. Lol

Just asking why when an actor that was in Star Wars plays a MARVEL movie, they “jump ship”? Is it just a play on words? I mean in John’s case, because he wasn’t happy, yeah but I see those words used all the time in these situations. Most I don’t think are leaving Star Wars but also wanting to do MARVEL movies. Hell my life’s dream is to play Michael Myers or any kind of horror character in any kind of horror movie.
Again it’s not like he cannot do both though I be shocked if Finn is ever on screen again. The only one they seemed interested in revisiting is Rey since she now apparently rebuilds the Jedi Order. And that won’t be for awhile anyway.
I will not be watching anything he stars in. I’m utterly disgusted with his attitude after filming Star Wars. He played a great role…a role ANY diehard Star Wars fan would die to be in! Yet….he’s ungrateful. Same goes for Daisy! What the h*ll!? What’s wrong with these up and coming actors and actresses? Is it that they last their passion for the art? What is it?

Kelly had a rotten character but toxic fans took it out on her which was 1000% inexcusable. John’s character started off pretty well and then Rian Johnson happened and while some fans did take it out on John (again it was inexcusable) it wasn’t close to what Kelly got.
The sequel trilogy was so poorly made. Who cares about the characters in thise movies. They aren’t even making toys for the sequel trilogy anymore. It was so poorly executed. If disney has any common sense they will retcon the sequel trilogy
If it was as bad as he claimed why didn’t he quit? They could have done a reshoot of what he did before spending years doing this trilogy he did it in hopes that it would be beneficial to his career but it hasn’t panned out as he hoped now all this stuff came up afterwards it just didn’t start at the end. Why not just as for his character to be killed off or something after a certain point? What exactly did he do in the second or third movie or even in the first but whine you could tell in his acting that he didn’t want to be there.
There’s this thing called a contract? It usually covers one or more projects? Heard of it? You see, you’re pretty much obligated until it’s over and if you had a bad experience, it’s probably best not to continue signing them with the same source. Also, there’s something humans require called ‘income’(unless their family is independently wealthy). You also kinda hang around some for of that too, though it doesn’t mean you have to keep coming back. See how that works?
