It is probably to add the lockers to the ride. When I went a few months ago, I almost got into an altercation because of this. I already paid for a locker up front and wasn’t about to pay again. I too am a Platinum pass holder and was very disconcerted about it.
You paid for a locker near the front, or paid for one that can be moved from ride to ride ahead of time? Not sure what you mean by “up front.” Those ones by the front of the park don’t have the ability to move the rental from ride to ride. Pretty sure there are signs saying so. I specifically don’t use those because you can’t move them around the park, and honestly I don’t need that much locker space. I’m also a passholder, whatever the 2nd to top-tier is (I don’t need a pass for all 10 parks around the country, just the 4 in FL). Could’ve sworn they already had lockers at that ride. If not, I can’t remember what we did with our stuff that doesn’t go on rides.
It was opened later in the afternoon on the 21st. We rode it around 4pm when it reopened. Staff said it had been closed for a power supply issue, nothing to worry about.
I was here that day.
Lots of stuff was closed. They’re understaffed and actually have “hiring” signs out. And, the park was at very low capacity that day.
This is just adding cen ern where there doesn’t need to be..
It said nothing about being closed for maintenance….
Temporary ride closures are common throughout the industry. No need to go home and write about something that you feel the rest of is should be concerned about. You must have a very simple life and lots of time on your hands.
I was there all day on the 21st and experienced no problems. My family wrote the icebreaker multiple times with the child swap feature. Only time things were halted when it was raining and thunderstorming off and on.
