My only experience with anyone on a scooter other than waiting for a family of 4 to board a Disney bus all on scooters is a woman driving off the curb on Main Street and getting stuck and when I say curb I mean not the nice ramp that’s there at the end of each block.

My husband and I have been going to Disney for years and I’ve rented scooters from the park, then rented from Disney recognized vendors before buying a scooter of my own. While I don’t dispute their are idiot entitled scooters users in DIsney, that does not sound like the horn on any scooters I’ve used or seen used in the park

We were trying to watch fireworks at Disneyland and a scooter hit me. Repeatedly. The driver was yelling to get out of the way. I told her I couldn’t, we were caught in a crowd yet she kept crashing into me. I leaned down and informed her if she did it again I’d have her taken to jail. She turned into the guy next to me and started smashing into him.

Should’ve punched her in the face

Ignorant and/or arrogant scooter drivers should be given a clear path…………..TO THE PARK EXIT !!!!!!!!!!

Or she was trying to maneuver safely through the crowd to the exit. When groups of people are walking in one direction abruptly stop, the scooter Can crash into them. The horn is used to make others aware that she is there, not necessarily to be rude at all. People are monumentally unaware of others in public and we can only see this tiny little snippet of a video to get riled up about. How about putting yourselves into her shoes. I guarantee you she has had plenty of rude people to deal with before this non event.

Rude goes both ways. I have had people walk into me not paying any attention to those around them. I’ve felt like my whole visit to these parks is spent dodging people.

I bet that scooter person had had enough. I had to use a scooter to get around at Disney, they are set to a speed that is slower than people walk, people cut you off walk right in front of you. I lost my party twice because of people not wanting to walk behind they got between me & my party until I could no longer see them. There were times I wanted to flip out because of rude walking people, my first time ever experience at Disney was full of aggravation.

This was my thought as well. She’s following another scooter, I bet multiple people had tried to slip in between the two scooters and cut her off. Scooters don’t have actually have brakes, all you do is let off the power and it coasts to a stop. I have spent a lot of time in the parks in a wheelchair and people are constantly cutting you off and stopping or slowing suddenly, and then they get mad at you like it was your fault if you run into them or over their foot.

All I can say is OMG!!!! It has been a few years since I have been to Disney, I do have a number of friends that work there and I Have been told, that the magic is slowly being drained from the Mouse House.

My husband has been saying for years that Disney is now for the rich, not the middle class… I priced Disney and there is no way I can afford it anymore.

Hitting you on purpose with anything is assault and you could have had her jailed and sued her in court.

I’m trying to walk while staring at my iPhone using the Disney app and this lady in a scooter is distracting me.

    How rude.
