Honestly not sure why it is necessary to identify the child as an “adopted son.” Just another thing that people do only to adopted kids which constantly reminds them they aren’t actually part of the family and they are different. The child’s adoption status is not relevant at all to the article unless it is pointing out that adopted kids get abused more than biological children and are traumatised by adoption in and of itself. That doesn’t seem to be the tone of the article, though.
Adoptees always see this stuff. It’s just another way to other adoptees. Consider better editing in the future.
Just terrible. There was another case in Epcot when a doctor (from another country) kicked his Son in the face, whilst he was sitting in the stroller. I understand tempers get frayed because people are hot & tired, but this is on a totally different level than kids arguing, or parents getting frustrated. I can’t believe parents beat their children, especially at the happiest place on Earth. Just terrible! 😔
Y’all really went from talking about child abuse, to plugging for Disney? You went from, the father is not pleading guilty, to here’s an excerpt about how you can go to Disney world and build your own lightsaber. Show some class.
It’s funny how this article did go from child abuse to plugging Disney as the happiest place on earth. You as a columnist should be fired and replaced with someone who actually has integrity, sympathy, empathy. Who actually has a heart. Wondering how many reservations you earned for this plug.

Wow, horrible. And then the article transitions to how you can build your own lightsaber? Not cool.
