Jane, aka “Lady Thor”, has already replaced Mr. Odinson in the print comics–so MCU thinks it’s being “current”–but yes, there’s an agenda here:
As MCU is trying out Idea #4 for Phase 4, creating all-female/teen spinoff “A-Force” teams, because all the fangirls wanted one after that embarrassing Endgame scene. We’ll also see Ant-Man replaced by now-teen daughter Cassie in “Ant-Man: Quantumania”, in preparation for Stature’s big teen-heroine debut.
(And probably because Tessa Thompson wanted one all to herself.)
I love Helmsworth as Thor. His charisma & humor is not something I see on Portman. Yes there should be female super heroes but they don’t ALL need to be replaced. I may see this final Thor movie with Helmsworth but I wouldn’t be seeing them after he’s gone.
I hate the idea of replacing the male superheroes with female versions these are not the movies made from my comics but you can have both if your so desperate to cater to female audiences
There comes a time in ALL great “stories” where the END must arrive — good luck with these extra phases BUT I believe the “interest” in all these EXTRA “add- on pieces” will come to a sudden end, but then again thats me!
You sound like a militant feminist douche. Look at the WNBA. Marvel is heading straight down that line and you can boast to your girl-friends about how woke you are – but you’re part of the downfall of cinema
No Simone they do not. It is the show nonsense so prevalent in this sissyfied culture of today. But hey at least they aren’t making heterosexual men gay. Uhm, well they did that as well. Poor Iceman he was hetero from 1963 to about 2012 the inclusion created a teleporting closet that show writers had him walk out of. Sorry not sorry Simone if I hurt your feelings. I fought for your rights of freedom is speech and I damn sure will never allow she to try and shut my opinion or so each down.
Jane Foster does not become or replace Thor. She gains the power of Thor yes, but Thor is Thor because his name is Thor. That’s his name not his title. So she can be “The Mighty Jane” but she is not Thor. I don’t much care of they add a bunch of female heros. I have no problem with it as long as the story is good and the actors do well in their rolls. I hope it works.
Exactly, damn stupid, calling her “Mighty Thor,” it was stupid when they did it in the comics and it’s even worse here cause Thor ain’t dead or Unworthy. Call her Mighty Jane, don’t give her his name and pretend it’s no big deal, especially with an adjective like Mighty attached to it.
For all you normies that say “they did it in the comics!” please stop, you don’t give a crap about comic accuracy when they race/gender/sexuality swap characters so you have no right to claim that. Furthermore ALL of your beloved female tokenized characters like lady thor BOMBED in sales, don’t cry “sExIsIm & mYsOgENy” when it does the same on the big screen
All I have to say is hell no! My heart will forever belong to Christopher Hemsworth. the all mighty all powerful thor. And for Jane to come back for one movie. Nah im good fam. Thank you very much. If you don’t remember. Natalie Portman got her rise to fame with star wars. And this stuff was written in the comic book versions by Stan Lee in the 1940s- on. So no. Natalie Portman will NEVER be ever be worthy. EVER. Repeated ever. They only did it this way to shut up some feminists. And this movie is gonna be 🙁 😞 but I’m only going to see it for my love and affection for chris Hemsworth /Thor. You bet your sweet rear that Chris will be in avengers 5 as thor. His contract is already signed him to it. And boo hoo fake Natalie has this crappy movie. Oh damn. Not even sorry. Because if you remember a few movies back thor / Jane aren’t even together. So bam. Natalie did this movie to spite chris/ thor. Mic drop. And chris loves every one!!
That’s not a feminist thing. In the comics, whoever demonstrates that he or she possess the values of Thor shall be able to wield the power of the hammer. Many mortals and gods have wield it, but since they have only some of Thor’s great quality that makes him a leader, they have to work out a great disadvantage so they shall wield it.(Thor is the only one worthy of all it’s power). For Jane, it’ll be the cancer (for Mjolnir doesn’t cure her cancer, he’s the cause since he has to nourish on Jane’s energy). For Volstaag (one of Thor’s generals, the big red-bearded one), it will nourish on his anger. Even Borr the God Butcher will wield Mjolnir, for he desire to protect everyone against God’s power (Thor will even have him built his own Mjolnir-stylr Axe for he will finally be one of the worthiest).
After that episode, Thor is suppose to cast Mjolnir from Jane’s side to help her cure her cancer. But since her will to make a change for good is so strong, Valkyrie is supposed to make her the very last Valkyrie alive (in another episode). Thor is supposed to be one of the very last God to survive at the end of time (with a Loki in hiding), becoming the All-Mighty of the universes. Surviving him will be his 3 grand-daughters, the goddesses of thunder, descendant also of their grand-mother Jane. Boom!!!
Hope you won’t be crying over the synopsis, but the good news is that Thor’s story is also a very good one for the women around him.
No, she was pretty much an unknown to the general public before Star Wars. They INTENTIONALLY cast unknowns (i.e., avoided established stars) in the lead roles and have been doing that since the original Star Wars movie. Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Hayden Christianson, Natalie Portman, Daisy’s Ridley, Adam Driver – all had made movies before but none were famous before Star Wars. Ford had been acting for DECADES before Star Wars, but the general public didn’t know who he was. Star Wars gave all these actors the breakthrough roles that made them movie stars. Before that, they were just supporting actors that most people never heard of.
It shouldn’t be about a woke agenda, they should just ensure appropriate diversity and inclusion. Replacing Thor with a woman is like replacing Hercules with one. What is the actual point especially when there are so many dynamite female avengers emerging already? I hope this is just a one time thing and that Chris Hemsworth remains.
You sound like a militant feminist douche. Look at the WNBA. Marvel is heading straight down that line and you can boast to your girl-friends about how woke you are – but you’re part of the downfall of cinema
Thor is a God, how old is Thor? I think it’s somewhere around 1000 years old. He’s embarking on a self-discovery quest. He’ll have to come to terms with Jane’s powers. I don’t believe Jane intends to replace Thor. Being true to oneself is probably one of the mightiest things one can do. If there was ever a character that was dead certain on who they are, it’s Jane, without question. So many MCU characters question themselves and/or their decisions. Inner conflict vs. inner peace.
Much like the comic books replacing all male characters with their female counterparts.
Sales showed marvel failed there. And had to bring back ALL the original male characters.
Disney shows they wont learn from the past. Especially when they incessantly push their all female agenda.
How much money will they have to lose before they re introduce the male leads? That’s the question….we will find out when they introduce the next guardians team (after the 3rd film comes out) rumored to be all female alien squad. Led by butch brie.
Sit back and enjoy the fall of marvel. It will be epic!!!
Much like Warner bros. Firing ann Sarnoff and her all female brigade…
Disney needs a MAN not a female in man’s clothing making money decisions.
Wow..Can u sound any more misogynistic than that? Jeez why is it so triggering for u to see female Superheroes on screen? Besides Nobody is replacing anyone.. they r just adding more characters Chris Hemsworth has signed multiple contracts with Disney/Marvel studios… Since when did it became a rule that fictional Superheroes should only be male dominated? Can’t there be a balance? 🙄
Thor is Christopher Hemsworth all the way. It’s ok to have a female counterpart, but there isn’t a “replacement” for any of the Avengers. I haven’t read a comic book in years and my favorite female goddess is/always will be Wonder Woman. So MCU really needs to rethink the desire to “woman power” all their characters. I’m a woman, I’m not “woke”, and woman power comes from within. Not this stupid “wokeness” crap that actually makes a man feel unworthy, unwanted, and unmanly. I like a man who is manly man not a she/man. So leave Chris/Thor alone. He’s the ultimate manly man. The ultimate fantasy lover, eye candy, hottie….whatever you want to call Chris. He makes the heart skip a beat and any woman wants to trip him and beat him to the floor….just saying.
“sigh” the reality will show up at the box office, when this bombs. I’m a bit old fashioned and like my traditional male and female superheroes to remain male & female. I’m not into this male replacement/subversion agenda in order to empower women. Women shouldn’t need it. Black Widow, Wanda & all the other female superheroes fulfil those roles. The sooner Disney & Hollywood wake up and realise this, the sooner we’ll get some decent film content at the cinema.
What a lovely gathering of incels, misogynist, Q morons, and supremacists.

I hope they keep Thor on and all the other male superheroes. As for She Hulk, I haven’t seen it but from pictures I did see, it just doesn’t seem right. Maybe it’s just me
I’m sorry. I am not a Portman fan. Her acting is flat and she lacks the charisma needed to hold the screen. I’m also tired of the current woke trend of replacing male figures with women just because they have boobs. I will only see this film when it’s free.
Garbage
Insert strong female character thinking we want that. Marvel going to crash again but what do you expect from disney. Just like Star Wars, female agenda with no interesting story, character arc, or meaningful thought process to it.
It’s about empowering women and demasculating men they want little girls to have something to look up to but taking away with little boys always had as far as I know in my 40 plus years women never really cared about the comic book world until the last 10 years maybe now it’s in TV movies music and they don’t want you to speak against it against it if you do you are all kinds of names trying to shut you up I for one feel they will not get my money for nothing I don’t want to see and I encourage everyone that feels the way I do react the same way if we don’t pay for it they won’t continue I will not be bullied into following something I don’t believe in no matter what the case
Someone at Marvel already confirmed Cheis Hemsworth is going to be in more movies. Thor Love And Thunder is not his last movie. Thor Odinson will be doing more cosmic adventures. Also Thor Odinson is still in the comics, Sonny Cates has Thor Odinson as Thor not Jane and hea not changing. His the main Thor comic. The others are not the manioc.ic line for Thor.

Every single all female movie has totally BOMBED and there’s a good reason for it. It has nothing to do with threatening male masculinity.

“Natalie Portman got her rise to fame with star wars.”
She was WAY FAMOUS before that. Her biggest break was a controversial role she played as a child in a film called Leon – The Professional.
Ann Hathaway, as an adult, also had a controversial role that gave her a big break in the film Havoc.
