I see nothing on how this “field trip” has anything to do with Disney.

That part! The story is poorly written and doesn’t even explain what lead to the investigation and suspension of the staff!

agreed, this is an awful article, i’m now LESS informed than before I read it. what’s the point of publishing this?

    2. Vince

That’s because once again, this “website” is attempting to take any chance they can to link any cIick baitabIe language such as this “scandaI” that doesn’t even seem to have taken place at the parks for reader traffic.

If y’all had read the article, you’d understand that the people suspended “following the Disney trip” MEANING the inappropriate behavior happened on the Disney trip. Not that hard to figure out.

      1. HRod

Haha, I read the article and that is exactly what I got out of it! Some just refuse to read!?

      2. Michael

No, actually it said the incident happened from charges from a football game scandal.
It doesn’t mention how that scandal tied into the Disney World trip.

        1. Heather

No, it said this comes AFTER a separate incident. Reading comprehension. Try it.

    4. Michael

I agree, this is terrible reporting.

      1. The folks commenting here, who show a complete and utter lack of reading comprehension, must have attended school there……

Yeah, this article was too vague. Clearly it says their actions followed a Disney trip, but there’s no details past that.

    2. As liberal as disney is they are not responsible for the actions of a bunch spoiled rich kids from the Northeast you can’t blame Disney for everything

But what did the golden children do?
Was it with the chaparone’s knowledge?
If you come here, spill the tea.

I think the main point is that people from NJ should be banned from Florida. They fill up the state with rude and nasty and then complain about all the people on vacation.

    1. Excuse me dear, not everyone from New Jersey is rude. I think you are mistaken. Your comment must have been a joke.

  5. NO

Just reading the title I knew it was gonna be a NJ high school 😂. My town banned weekend long school trips for seniors. I’m surprised other towns still do them in NJ.

  6. Frank

I took my first LSD trip on grad night at Disney.

  7. Laura Beauregard

    Omg yes, thank you!

Poorly written article. No surprise here. I don’t know why I click these articles.

I’m from the town that this happened in (my children are in elementary school still) and the details are still a bit hazy, bit I think what happened is that the principals used student/school funds to allow them and their families to go on said Disney trip. The only reason Disney is involved is due to the location they were all going.

  10. If you ” skim” through the article you do cannot understand what happened. It was a class trip to WDW that the students from a high school in NJ were inappropriate. Not WDW! As I was reading I came to the part where it noted the High School was from New Jersey. I shook my head then I sighed. I am also from New Jersey. The school they are taking about is in a nice town. I might sound old by saying this. These kids today have no clue how the things that they do will follow them when seeking employment! Wow, I feel old just by saying that. It doesn’t say exactly what they did. But, I can only imagine it was more than ” kids being kids”.

If you think anything that a juvenile does “follows them” when it comes to future employments then you’re wrong. A juvenile record is sealed and no one can access it. I work with the Department of Juvenile Justice in my state so I know. Unless it’s a kid’s name is published or made known online no one will know. This is done so kids don’t run into that problem. And honestly it’s a good thing, who wants their mistakes on their record forever? Most of the kids I work with are good kids who made mistakes

Boy I am glad I’m not the only one who doesn’t see any connection in this fragmented article about what I have NO idea!

There is a time and place for Disney, its called your honey moon!If I had a senior in high school they would not be going to Disney World.I’m not about to have a conversation, “Why did you have sex in the hotel room at Disney? Your too young!”

  14. Erwim

Who thought it was a great idea to take a high school field trip to Disney World ? There is a million other places they can go that’s smaller, doesn’t have hotel rooms, and you can do it in a day!

  15. Erwim

You realize Disney World is not a day park, its 4 theme parks and two water parks, it takes 2 weeks or a month to enjoy it. Can’t stand people who try to cram there enjoyment in one day and cry and wine!

    1. Jeff

“Your” should be “you’re.” “There” should be “their.” “Wine” should be “whine.” Learn your homophones!!!

Those kids must be happy. They got an expense-paid trip to Disney World while the rest of us have to pay more than $5,000.

If I was resident of the high school’s county, I would be pissed to know my tax dollars has gone to overprivileged kids.
