If I was told a ride was closed for what ever the reason I would not stand in line and demand them to open said ride. I miggt be either disappointed or frustrated I would suck it up and make the best of what was open and would expect the lines to be longer for getting on the rides
That would depend. Web Slingers broke down while we were in line and we just waited. Only took about 20 minutes, which we would have waited longer for a time on another ride. Same with Rise, the time to walk over to another ride and wait would be longer than just waiting for it to come back up. There are a number of rides that “break down” often and it’s not a “break down” at all, could be as simple as allowing handicapped riders to get on or off the ride. It may seem like a break down to those on the ride (partially due to the announcements and how they are announced about stopping briefly and not giving a reason). I know Haunted stops regularly to allow guests a little bit easier of a time to get on or off, they have to stop it for me as it takes a little bit for me to get out of the “doom buggy” due to a physical disability.

To spice things up on the It’s A Small World ride, I suggest that live gators be placed in the water to keep ”arms and legs” inside the ride at all times. Just a suggestion and I got a million of them.
