They took a picture from the restaurant inside the castle. Sitting there, you only see the fireworks. They missed the projections on the castle and down Main Street USA and the music.
So I don’t think that was an example of a priviledged seat for the fireworks (although expensive).
I guess its a bit of a flex to be in the castle while the fireworks are going off but you are going to miss the entire show. I presume they have either seen the whole thing already or will watch it at sometime else during their trip.
