Disney raises prices and then proceeds to cut back on perks, new attractions park enhancements. Meanwhile, the foreign parks, which never should have been built, are getting a ton of make overs and new attractions never seen here. What gives Disney?
Disney doesn’t fund the Asian parks. They just franchise the IP and design services. Oriental Land Company (Japan) and the Chinese government are cutting the checks for them.
If you want to see trees and water, save yourself a bunch of money and go visit a national or state park. I guarantee your enjoy it more than fighting the insane crowds of rude people at Disney and unappreciative staff.
I honestly could are less about bigger newer attractions. Start taking care of your resorts and the people who pay to stay there! Bring things back to normal with no park passes, and get rid of this stupid genie!
If Disney thinks this is a “upgrade” for Epcot, they better leave Splash Mountain alone. Getting rid of the Fountain of Nations and replacing it with trees?? Good grief. #SaveSplashMountain
The “refurbishment” of Spaceship Earth would have literally meant rebuilding it from the ground up:
The 1982 track was built into the foundations, and they couldn’t simply replace the old clankity one to a newer streamlined Tokyo one without dismantling the whole thing…Especially now that they added the light show.
They were planning to, and that’s why we originally got announcements of the “New side entrances” by World Nature–
Meaning, that if they rebuilt SE, the construction would have essentially cut the front gate off from the rest of the park.
Epcot is absolutely no place for a roller coaster based off of a Marvel movie IP. Save that garbage for Hollywood studios. Epcot is supposed to be about science and learning.
