Wow. I didn’t know anyone found the Jungle Cruise scary. Also, if the animatronic is outside of the Indian temple with the tiger, then it is not a gator. It would be a crocodile. India does not have alligators.
Looks like several folks here didn’t actually read the article. No one is offended by an animatronic, they are apparently scared of a fake crocodile. Some of the changes being made because of the fear of offending someone are pretty silly, but this is not one of them. Please read the article before commenting.
I think you missed the point people are pointing out its not scary. You refer to the ride as being so terrifying and scary. Maybe for a 3 to 5 year old. However that’s not who this article is meant for right? At least thats how i see this article just my opinion.

I’ve loved this ride since I was a child. There is nothing scary about this ride. I’m glad they are adding more animals to make it more realistic.

Pah-lease, an animatronic gator is not scary. I’ve seen worse. Try a real 6 ft. gator in the Walmart Garden Center.
